There is huge scope for jobs for instrumentation engineers. Candidates can try for jobs in public sector and private sector as well. Candidates can try for engineer or scientist positions in research based organizations namely ISRO or DRDO etc by qualifying the written exams as part of this. Candidates can also apply in some of the other public sector companies like ONGC, HAL, IOCL, SAIL, NTPC etc where in work can be done in their related field. Also, candidates can try for IAS, IPS, IRS posts. Railway is another major department which offers jobs in technical departments. Positions like Section engineer/ signal engineer etc can be opted in railways after qualifying RRB exam. Apart from this, candidates can also work in private instrumentation companies like National Instruments, L& T, and Suzlon etc.
