    What are the career options after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering?

    what should i do after completing b.tech in mechanical Engineering. Please suggest me some options.

    There exist various career options for one who have completed their B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. The candidate can try for jobs in aeronautical and automobile industry. Chemical industry and electronics industry are other areas where the candidate can find jobs. These professionals can apply for matching jobs in power plants, steel plants, etc. Construction firms and textile industries are also in need of skilled candidates in mechanical engineering. They can apply for matching jobs in petroleum and oil exploration firms. The candidates can work as consultants in various consulting firms.

    after the completion B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) we can also attend for the government jobs like
    UPSC
    bank exams
    indian railway board exam
    IAS exams
    IPS exams
    In a private sector
    A Mechanical Engineer works in various areas which include the Design, control and coordination of process of manufacturing product.

    Yes,You will be having number of career opportunities after completing your B.Tech with engineering course.Mostly you will have chance to get good opportunities with M.Tech and MBA fields.Let me explain in detail,If you go for M.Tech course then you will be having chance to go for Teaching as well as in the technical field.It means you can get opportunities in to various companies or you can go for as a Professor in the top ranked Universities in India as well as in the Abroad.To get admission in to M.Tech course you must be completed your Engineering with at least 50% of marks and You have to qualify in GATE entrance test.If you get good percentile in GATE entrance test then you will be having chance to do M.tech course in top Institutes like NITs and IITs.

    MBA is the another alternative to you.It will help you to get more opportunities in your career and If you do MBA from top ranked business schools then you have chance to be placed directly in to management positions in the top companies with huge packages.You can go for MBA in Operations management,in this you can find better opportunities after completion of your Engineering in MECHANICAL.If you want to get admission then you have to qualify in CAT,MAT,XAT,GMAT etc entrance test then only it is possible to do MBA course.

    Indian institute of managements,Indian school of Business,Faculty management studies,XLRI etc..are the best management schools in India.

    Mechanical engineering is one of the core branches and you have amazing opportunities both in the core direction and in the software direction.

    If you secure a good score of around 600-700 in the GATE examination then you can get a call from these companies

    NTPC
    BHEL
    BARC
    IOCL
    then you are also eligible to write tests like:

    CIL
    GAIL
    SAIL
    BEL
    BDL
    HPCL
    etc.. also many software companies are recruiting mechanical students. like:

    INFOSYS
    WIPRO
    CTS
    TechMAhindra
    etc. or you can pursue M.Tech in the IIT's and other reputed colleges. you can also do M.S or MBA depending on your interest. the career options are abundant for mechanical students so all the best
