You will be having multiple options:
Either going to higher studies or trying for any job. I dont think that with your 56 percentage you will get a good job. At the same time, i can say that you will get a job but you should maintain some job skills like,
Programing skills,
Proficiency in english,
Soft skills...
It is better to go for high studies, then you will have really good choices to get the good salary..
In your field you have the following choices regarding high studies...

M.c.a
M.tech
etc....
Or if you want to do the job with your percentage, then it really becomes a tuff task to get in any field...
But, i can suggest you the following regarding the jobs..
1.Every few weeks, various banks release the different types of jobs to recruit their posts likes PO's(probessinory officers), clerks,accountants etc...
You better get in touch with the appropriate bank websites often, then you can be well aware of their recruitement(some banks dont conisder the percentage much,they will mainly conduct any exam,if you passed in that,then you are in)...

Maximum software company want 60% in through out in career .Your 12 th marks is not above 60% so you are not eligible for maximum no of software company.

Some few software company allow 50% above criteria like WIPRO, SYNTEL , HONEYWELL etc.

Also WIPRO want above 60% marks in B-TECH.

So you are eligible for WIPRO, SYNTEL ,HONEYWELL because your 12th marks is just below 60%.

Also you are eligible for .NET and PHP company so you can contact those company.Because if here you have gain experience in 2 years then you have chances to go TOP MNC companies.

Better option for you to go for higher study like JRF ,SRF,MBA,M-TECH,MS,PHD etc.

You can go for M.Tech or MBA courses after completing your B.Tech with CSE branch.Both field are good to you.One is purely related to technical education and Another one is completely related to management education.Based on your interest you can go for specialization.If you want to get admission in to M.Tech course then you must qualify in GATE entrance exam.GATE is a entrance test for M.Tech education in IITs and NITs and Some other top institutes in India.To appear for this test you must be having at least 505 of marks in your engineering graduation and 5% relaxation is available for SC and ST candidates.Otherwise if you want to go for MBA then you have to qualify in CAT,MAT,XAT,GMAT,ICET,TANCET etc...entrance tests,if you get more than 96 percentile in the CAT entrance test then you will be having chance to get admission in to top business schools.Once if you complete MBA from top business schools then you will be having chance to get opportunities directly in to senior level management and middle level managements in the top companies with huge packages.

You can go for many fields like
You can do M.tech with giving gate exam and can become a lecturer in any college.
You can go for MBA if your interest is in Business field

As you don't have a minimum of 60% marks in your graduation level,therefore it seems that you are not eligible for all the CMM level 5 companies.
Still you will have several other CMM level 3 companies to start your career with.
