Sorry to say this now you are not eligible for charted accountant(ca) because common proficiency test(cpt) is the entrance exam of ca. There is no age limit for this course. But you must be passed 12th(commerce and maths) with good marks. First you finished 12th and after that you apply cpt exam. Best of luck

C.P.T is the common professional test is entrance for C.A.The qualification for this test is 12th.The age limit should not effect on this exam.In the 12th the subjects are commerce and math for eligible of this test.First the candidate should complete the 12th and apply for the C.P.T. entrance exam.

Re: What can I do for clearing CPT exam after completing 10th?

No, it is not permissible to appear for CPT(Common Proficiency Test) just after qualifying 10th standard. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which is responsible for conducting this exam
has set a minimum qualification for appearing for CA(Chartered Accountants) entrance exam and that is a candidate must have at at least a degree of higher secondary to appear for this exam.

So, it clearly indicates that first you have to complete your higher secondary and then you can appear for CA entrance exam. The procedure to become a CA can be outlined as follows:-
    1)CPT-
The first level is CPT.And for that you have to be registered with the institute. The paper consists of four sections. Each section of 50 marks each. The subjects to be studied include-fundamentals
of accountancy, Quantitative Aptitude, Merchantile Law and Economics. Each subject is asked for at least 50 marks.

    2)IPCC(Integrated Professional Competence Course)-
This is intermediate level of examination. It consists of seven subjects each asked for 100 marks each. For qualifying any paper you need at least 40%in that paper. But the exam consists f two groups and both groups must be cleared for moving to the next level.Subjects include-taxation, law, accountancy, cost accounting, financial management, audit, strategic management, etc.

    3)CA Final exam-
This exam also consists of two groups and both groups are required to be cleared. But before appearing for the final level , you need to complete three years or rigorous article ship training.
After intermediate level you have to be registered for the next level.

No friend. you are not eligible to register for CPT exam in 10th itself.

-> CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test which is the first exam for CA carrier. It consists of four sections which comprises 50 marks for each.

-> This exam mostly deals with Aptitude, Quantitative and some Conventional test.

I will clearly tell you the eligibility for CPT exam on following:-

-> The candidate should finish his/her 12th with at least 50%.

-> There is no age limit to do CA.

All the best to do CA with good marks.
