What can I do after completing B.A with History and Geography subjects if I'm not interested in teaching field?

I just don't understand that why did you choose BA with history and Geography if you had an option of going for any other course that related to PCM after 12th class in graduation.

But anyways as you have opted for it we cannot change it now. After completion of graduation you'll be having several options open for you.

1. Go in search of a good job other than teaching.
2. Go ahead with Post graduation in another stream.
3. Go for jobs based on 12th standard.

As you have mentioned that your not interested in teaching field then you can apply for jobs in other fields using your graduation and 12th standard.

Jobs :


Based on graduation there are various jobs some of them are :

1. Civil Service Examination (IAS/IPS)
2. CDS
3. Banking Sector Jobs

Based on 12th standard you can go for :

1. Clerk Job in banking.
2. NDA if you are below 19 years age.

Your future is still in your hands search for various opportunities rather than regretting about the only teaching line that you don't want to take up. Failing to plan is Planning to Fail, similarly search for jobs as opportunities does not come your way instead it is created and utilized.

There are a number of options in front of you.You have mentioned that you are not interested in teaching field but you would be glad to know
that there are a lot other options which can be considered by you.
The various options can be broadly classified into two categories which are as follows:
1)Opting for a post graduation course
You can firsly complete your studies and then you can go for a job.So, in that case you can opt from the various post graduation courses that are offered in the country for
example- MA(Masters of arts), MBA(Masters of business administration), MCA(Masters ogf computer applications), etc.You can choose any of the course
according to your interests and aspirations and later onb can make a successful career in that direction.

2)Opting for a job-
The other case can be to directly opt for a job.You can easily get a job in the BPO, KPO, research and development sector, etc.You can choose any such field depending
on your interests.

Since you have history in your graduation, you can go for a all together different and interesting career, which is ARCHAEOLOGY. You have BA in history, so you can go for MA in Archaeology. Archaeology is that genre where you excavate old historical relics and make historical inferences from there. Its a genre from we have our Rakhaldas Banerjee and many more historians. You can go for excavation jobs, govt. history projects, museum or library jobs.
The place where you can opt for this course are Osmania University, Hyderabad or University of Madras.

The next option for you can be MBA. MBA doesn't have any restriction for graduation genre. If you have a minimum 50% of total you can sit for some CET and on clearing any of the respective CET for a corresponding university you can be admitted.
You can choose from MBA in Media or HR or Education or Corporate.
