After b.tech IT you have many good jobs in software companies like tcs, wipro, infosys etc. You get a minimum starting salary of above 25,000. Better you go for jobs than higher studies. Otherwise if you are interested in higher studies means go with mba or m.tech. You write entrance exams for mba and m.tech are mat/cat and gate . Choose the career is in your hands. Best of luck

if you really had no problem in continuing the higher studies you can continue ....if your qualification is high then opportunities that you will get also high.

    Dear friend,
I think you should go for job,as presently market is good and you will get good salary now,you should have work experience.

If you want to go for MBA and MS then your work experience will make a difference and you will make some savings for further studies also.

For getting a job in MNCs like Wipro,Infosys,TCS,you have to know the exam pattern of their's.

    Eligibility for MNCs:

    1. Candidate should be final yr student of B.Tech/B.E

2.Candidate should have min.58% aggregate.marks criteria changes from college to college.

3.Candidate should have good communication skills.

4.Candidate should have basic knowledge of programming language like C,C++,Java.

    5. Candidate should have good aptitude skills.

    Procedure Of Selection:

1.First there is a written test in logical, verbal reasoning and data analysis, some programming related questions will be asked.

2.After that if you clear the exam then you will be called for technical interview,in which some basic questions will be asked from C,C++,data structure etc.

3.After that you will be called for HR interview,in which your communication skill will be checked.

Then you will be selected if you are applicable for thecompany.

    best of lk..

If you are interested in higher studies then go for higher studies.
If you are interested in teaching line then go for higher studies it is the best way to get more salary.
Otherwise if you are interested in working go for job.
Its upto your interest but if you are interested in the teaching line then you must have to go for the higher studies. It is essential otherwise it is not essential to go for the higher studies.

Engineering students Can opt for Further studies like Post graduate courses and then obtain a Ph.D.
There are also lots of options during this P.G course like M.S/ M.Tech, IAS/IPS, Navy/CDSE and Finance related courses like MBA. Lets have a look at them

    M.S/M.Tech:

If you prefer doing P.G in your field of study, you can go for M.S/M.Tech. If you are ready to go outside India you can prefer M.S. You need to appear for GRE/TOEFL for doing M.S in Foreign countries.

GRE: The Graduate Record Examination is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in English speaking countries.

TOEFL: It is required for non-native applicants at many English-speaking colleges and universities. A TOEFL score is valid for two years and then is deleted from the official database.

GATE: Conducted by one of OLD seven Indian Institutes of Technology in rotation, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an annual exam for admission to M.Tech and M.S. programmes. The exam is usually conducted on second Sunday of February.

    MBA:

GMAT: The Graduate Management Admissions Test,is a standardized test for determining aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies.

CAT: Common Admission Test is conducted by IIMs in India for entry to various IIMs present in India. Admissions are based on the scores in CAT exam.

other's MBA exam MAT, JMET, XAT etc

    Indian Civil Service:

The Indian Civil Service serves as the backbone of India.Every year's top posts in the civil services exams are bagged by professionals from various streams, shows that the IAS is still the dream job for many graduates from Engg.

There are various job option ,if you're opting for Walk in Interview for PSU's/MNC's you have to atleast score more than 65% or at campus placement MNC's come at 58% and have a good knowledge about your subject.

    Good Luck!!

Re: What are the best career options after completing B.Tech IT? Which is best between Higher studies and Jobs?

    Dear friend,

you have completed your b.tech and now you have these two options. you can do the job and you can go for the higher studies.
but in now a days the higher studies is best option for you. you can do the m.tech which is the post graduation in the technical field. you have to give the entrance exam GATE for this.
if you get good rank then you can choose a good college in which you can continue your studies in the higher level.
but in the job you will be get only 20 to 30 thousand, and if you go for the job after completing your m.tech then you will get a very good package.

    so best of luck.

Re: What are the best career options after completing B.Tech IT? Which is best between Higher studies and Jobs?

Both options are very good. Its totally depend on you.You can choose any one of them.In my opinion you should go with higher education. It will give you so many jobs opportunities. So you should do your higher education. You can choose M.tech for higher education. Its the best option for you.
There is so much scope after this and also you can get good job after m.tech
If you want to do a job in IT sector after engineering than you can get a job.But you can get very less salery.SO its better to go with higher education.

    All the best.

There are various careers after B.tech.

But if you'll prefer job now so it will be good
but you you prefer higher studies it will provide you a better job then doing it now.

You'll get a much better job after your higher studies.

You can do M.tech, MBA or any other masters degree.
Master degree has a bright future.

I'll suggest you to prefer higher studies.

    HELLO,
See as a Btech student you hav already achieved a good qualification for getting a job but that will not be enough to make you reach a very good position ..
So it would be better if you either go for higher studies .
See it all depends on your interest and if you are interested to study then go for
    1.M.tech
    2.M.B.A
    3.Civil services
    4.UPSC
I f you do any one of the above you expand your chances to new horizons
and you can be eligible for higher posts than others making you reach your goals as early as possible
    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
