    On what basis are the IT companies recruiting IT freshers?

    Hello sir,
    I'm a student of IT final year. I just want know how is the IT market and how they are recruiting freshers. What are they actually looking for.

    As there are so many IT companies in India and abroad, you can get employments in any of the companies. IT companies require professionals with fresh brains. You need to have thorough technical knowledge for entering into a career. In addition, you need to have intellectual ability so as to cope up with the changes in the IT industry. On completion of your course, better pursue the latest software packages, which may help you in your career. Good communication skills are required for clearing personal interviews. Prepare well for group discussions and personal interviews. You may have to face these factors as part of your career hunt.

    The IT firms are now recruiting large number of students. The IT firms mainly works on software development. They are looking for smart talented students who can find solutions for different types of tasks. For this they will conduct tests. That will mainly on aptitude and technical. The aptitude paper checks your checks your ability to solve problems on mathematics and logical questions. The technical questions are mainly to check the knowledge of the academic studies. They are recruiting the final year students from campus also. The test will include quantitative aptitude, technical test, GD and personal interview. The students qualifying the written test will be called for GD and personal interview. These conducted to filter out the best from a large number.

    After the global recession, all the IT sector companies in India like Infosys, TCS, Congnizant, Wipro, etc have changed their base for recruiting freshers. Thousands of jobs have been created in the year 2010-11. Instead of just looking at the student's academic performance, the companies are now looking for talents such as risk analyses, core programmers, crisis managers, communication skills and program developers. Companies are recruiting freshers based on their personalities and talents. Fortunately, the placement market in India this year is very large, so you won't face any problem in getting placed in a good company if your aggregate is good and your communication skills are upto the par.

    Now a days companies are just looking at the basic knowledge about some Languages like C++,JAVA,Programming,any extra language , and your communication skills are very Important ,Now a days companies are looking for the candidates whom they can train according to their requirement..so just be prepared .One more thing better go in details about the company in which you are going for the Interview..Search all the necessary details about the company before going to it..
    thats enough because this year there is great need of IT professionals in the market.

    in todays world IT is the sector without which our journey in all aspects would be very slow.so it is one of the important sector.no feild is bad.u have to make urself so much experienced and qualified that u can hire a certain position in any market.it companies firstly look at your computer knowledge.then they ask all basics which one should neccessarily know.and they recruit accordingly.

    comparitive to previous year this year it is in a good position with more job opportunities

    .it companies are giving importance to attitude and technical and communication skills of a person.

    generally the pattern of selection for any company involves the following rounds


    1) written aptitude (read rs agarwal aptitude and reasoning books)

    2) technical interview (read c ,java ,dbms, os standard textbooks)

    3) hr interview

    ( be confident, prepare for questions like "tell me about yourself", "strengths and weakness", "toughest situation faced you"

    this round is really a good opportunity to present yourself be positive show patience)

    1. IN IN CAMPUS IT COMPANIES RECRUIT FRESHERS AT THEIR FINAL YEAR BY VISITING IN THEIR COLLEGE.
    2 IN OFF CAMPUS ALSO FRESHERS CAN GET JOB IN COMPANIES EITHER BY JOB FAIR OR IN COMPANY. BASIS REQUIRMENT IS AS FOLLPWS.

    FRESHER SHOULD HAVE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IT VARY FROM COMPANY TO COMPANY LIKE 58% 55% 60% .
    BACKLOGS IT ALSO VARY SOME OF COMPANIES ALLOW CURRENT BACKLOGS ALSO.
    FRESHERS SHOULD HAVE TO FACE TEST COMPOSE OF APTITUDE, REASONING, ENGLISH, TECHNICAL APTITUDE.
    THEN TECHNICAL INTERVIEW. IN TE QUESTION RELATED TO YOUR STREAM MAINLY ASK.

    in any software company their is mainly three round.
    1)aptitude test
    2)technical
    3)hr
    in the first round checked your mathematical skill.
    2 nd round company checked you are technically strong or not.
    in 3rd round checked your communication skill and tour attitude.

    On the basis of communication skills, Clarity in conveying the information, creativity, ability to work as a part of a team and so on. You have to possess leadership qualities as well .

    2nd requirement:a good knowledge in language papers like c,c++,java.

    Recruitement is done on the basis of :

    1. Your CGPA or grades in BTECH/BE
    2. Projects done during graduation.
    3. Extra curricular activities
    4. Why you want to join some particular IT company
    5. Ant research work would be appreciated.

    Other than this , no no other criteria.

    After completion of your B TECH you should have all the basic knowledge of your academic subjects,
    You should be good in your communication skills,
    Your way of appearing and talking is very important.
    You have to go through the
    written examination conducted by the company.
    *General test.
    *Aptitude test.

    There will be a group discussion.
    Then Interview:
    *Technical
    *Non-Technical
    You are asked and given opportunity to show your skills.

    Be prepared with all this.
    You will definitely be selected.

    the famous IT sector companies in India like Infosys, TCS, Congnizant, Wipro, etc rectuiits the IT fresher.they take on the basis of the knowledge of candidate in c++,java.orientation language,vb.net etc,they also check the candidate's ability like attitude ,behaviour,capability,responsibility.
    they take sometime written exam,group discussion,aptitude test also.

    there is a selection process through interview
    you got to pass that interview then you work in IT companies
    also you need good percent to get selected
    it also depends on which course you have done
    It companies look after all these before recruting any personal

    IT is developing sector now a days. Top most MNC's are hiring based on their recruitment.
    This year TCS recrutited 50,000 employees. The basic thing needed is you should have minimum 60% cut off in order to attend the campuses.
    Recruitment procedure:
    Firstly you should clear your written exam.
    written exam carries
    • Aptitude
    • Soft skills
    Secondly you will be called for TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
    Thirdly you will have your HR interview.
    If you are confident with your skills then you will be selected very easily

    You need to login to the site of the company. There will be an option available for career. You will need to fill in your details in these sites. If found suitable they shall call depending on vacancy. Normally for these companies the candidate should have a minimum of 60% during graduation.
    You can register yourself in websites like timesjob.com,naukri.com so that you can get updates of the various campus recruits taking place.You need to attend the tests conducted by the MNC's taking place across India.

    IT companies are going to take large number of people from different colleges across india.
    different companies have different type of recruitment processes are there.
    some companies are taking communication power and you should comfortable in any situation and you must be a good team player.
    after that they concentrate on your aptitude solving ability,then technical ability,then they conduct the final HR round.
    after that you can get selected in different IT companies.

    The IT COMPANies conduct a interview in colleges, interview mela . They are on campus and off campus. It conducts three rounds. 1)APTITUDE TEST 2)GROUP DISCUSSION 3)PERSONAL AND HR INTERVIEW. The freshers are choosen under this qualities. Communication skills are important. Good luck

    Dear not only in IT Branch and also all other branches IT Companies or any Software companies recruit the students based on their Aggregate i.e must above 70%.And also based on Personality Development and Skills.You need to get qualified in the written test conducted by the IT Companies then after Interview.Then you will be selected for the job by the IT Companies.

    Many number of companies offers a following skills
    Eligibility:

    -You have to pass your 10th ,10+2 and B.Tech with 60% in any recognized university/Board.
    -You have a good programing skills.
    -You don't have any backlogs in your B.Tech
    You can fulfill those qualifications yo can easily get a good job.

    It depends on your background and company's work area.Depend on on which technology company works.But there are some basic things which for which company expect from you.

    1.Basic programming skills

    2.Good communication skills.

    3.Deep knowledge in your favorite subject.

    4.You should meet the min. criteria of marks,like every company have some min. criteria like infosys have 60% .

    There are many companies like Infosys,TCS,Cognizant in international market.these companies give you a chance to go onsite(abroad).You will get a chance to earn a lot of money and experience.

    Dear friend,

    in the final year the companies visits to the college campus and gives the campus placements to the students. before this year the companies can only visit for the 8th sem in the b.tech, but from this year the 7th and 8th sem both student can appear in the companies placement interviews. so it is a good news.

    the companies will held the different tests and these tests are in three phases:-

    first is the aptitude test
    second is the technical test
    and then the HR interview.

    so you have to pass these tests and then you will be selected for the interview. you have to good command on the communication skills and on the english. by this you will get a good job in a recognized company.

    If you are fresher then you can apply for a job in any IT company.There are many scope after engineering.So you should go for a job.The main thing which require is you should have knowledge about your field.If you have knowledge about programming language and very good in programming then you can get a job easily.So main thing which is require for freshers is knowledge.
    You can also apply in MNC companies.From MNC companies,you can get good job and also good salery.
    You shold have 60% above in 10th,12th and engineering if you want a job in mnc companies.
    So these are some best options for you.

    The criteria of IT companies for recruiting freshers differs from company to company.
    First of all u must have atleast 60% in 10th and 12th because most companies have this criteria.
    Secondly most of the good companies ask for 60 to 65 % in your degree.
    But some companies are there which don't want 60%.
    They recruit on no criteria basis..i.e,they are satisfied with any percentage.
    If you fulfill this then u have to give an apptitude test which can be general or technical depending on the companiy's job profile.
    If u clear the test then u have to appear in interview and that too can be technical or simple HR interview.
    Some companies made the candidates to appear for GD or case study.

    So keep preparing for all these stuff,u will succeed.

    Top MNCs have the following requirements for their recruitment drives
    1.You should have 60% through out your career(65% in some)
    2.you should not have more than 1 year of academic gap
    3.You should have not any live backlogs


    If you satisfy the above you have to go through the following procedure in the recruitment process:
    1.written test(aptitude,reasoning,english and technical aptitude)
    2.group discussion(in some companies)
    3.technical interview
    4.personal interview

    Many IT companies are there in India.all companies recruitments are same but some difference are there.
    Eligibility Criteria :-
    **the criteria is different from one company to another company.
    **Generally,Educational qualification is graduation in any stream from any recognized university with 60% marks.
    Recuritment Process:-
    1.Aptitude Test
    2.Group Discussion
    3.Technical interview
    4.HR interview.

    IT Companies recruit IT freshers on many basis.we cant say a particular reason for recruiting students into their company.....because it companies firstly observe the students who are above good percentage is just like 60+,70+% .secondly they recruit the students who ever perform the best in written exam along with good percentage.then they will recruit the student based on the intervies conducted and their technical knowledge too.So dear first take care of your studis without any backlogs...then you can improve a lot..
