The IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC. The basics eligibility for attending the IAS exam is a graduation in any discipline. You should have taken the graduation from any recognized university or college. You should be atleast 21 years old to apply. The maximum age limit is 30 years. There is age relaxation in case of the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. You need to attend the written examination as part of the selection criteria’s. There are a total of 4 attempts which a candidate can attempt in case of IAS exam. But in case of OBC it is seven attempts and in case of the SC/ST it is unlimited.
