Sir, I am a student of B.Sc ( computer science ). I want to know, What is the minimum percentage in the graduation eligible for IAS exam.

The year gap here does not matter but your age limit should be between 21 years to 30 years.You should have a minimum of 55%.the exam is basically divided into 3 parts first will be preliminary exam in which you will have to prepare for general studies and an optional subject as well,If you clear this round you will be elligible for the main exam in which you will have to answer an English paper and one paper of any language of the country..and if luckilly you clear this stage also you will be elligible for the final round in which you will have to apear for Personal Interview infront of the board members.There is huge competition and you need to prepare a alot and in advance.

IAS is a Civil services examinations which is conducted by UPSC.
The examination conducted in 3 stages.
-Civil services preliminary examination(CSP)-Normally conducted during the second half of the may.
-Civil services (Main) examination conducted during the month of October/November.Here those who are selected in the preliminary examination only are eligible to appear.
