    Hello,
You can take any stream in 11th, the only requirement for IAS is sitting at a stretch at one place for studying, good GK...
If you are targeted to IAS then you can go for either science stream or Arts with subjects like english, history, geography, economics....
The IAS require students to be well versed with general awareness subjects and Mathematics...
Its good that you are so much focused and this is the only thing that required to clear the IAS paper...

    All the best

Maximum :- Your age need to be maximum of 33 years (Age relaxation is only for Reservation category`s).

    Age Relaxation:-

There is no boundation for course to become an IAS officer.
For becoming IAS you have to qualify the IAS examination conducted by UPSC .

IAS : Indian Administrative Service is the most reputed post .and it is not a very easy task to become an IAS officer.
You have to struggle with study for becoming IAS officer.

The examination Consist of three stages :
    Preliminary
    Mains
    anj finally
    personal interview.

And the most important thing is that person should be physically and mentally fit and free of diseases.

    Education Eligibility for IAS :

graduation degree in any stream from a recognized board .

    Age :
    21 years to 30 years.

Age relaxation is given to OBC for 3 years and for sc/st 5 years.

    Dear Aspirant!

It doesn't matter whatever subjects you study because Union Public Service Commission has no such requirement. In their notification they never mentioned that they only require candidates who have completed graduation of a particular stream.

7.10 years for physically handicapped candidates.

The above mentioned are the various details of the
IAS Exam.So choose whatever subjects you need as per your interest.
