    I will appear 11th Science from St. Joseph, NTPC, Diviyapur. What are the entrance exams I need to prepare if I go of IIT and how do I.

    hello friend previously IIT-JEE exam was conducted for admitting candidates into IIT's but now from 2013 onwards its going to be replaced with ISEET exam
    Eligibility for ISEET:-
    1. Candidates for ISEET must be an Indian origin.
    2. Candidates must have studied maths, physics and chemistry subjects in 11th and 12th classes.
    3. Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in 11th and 12th
    4. Candidates age must be minmum 17 years
    5. Candidates age must not be more than 25 years

    Syllabus will be covered from NCERT 11th and 12th maths and physics, chemistry
    Physics :
    1. Electrostatics,
    2. Current Electricity,
    3. Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism,
    4. Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents,
    5. Optics and
    6. Modern Physics.

    Chemistry :
    1. Physical chemistry,
    2. Atomic structure and chemical bonding,
    3. Energetics,
    4. Inorganic chemistry,
    5. Organic chemistry.

    Mathematics :
    1. Algebra,
    2. Trigonometry,
    3. Analytical geometry,
    4. Differential and integral calculus,
    5. vectors.

    Dear friend,

    You don't need to appear for all entrance exams to get admission in IIT.

    You will have to simply appear for JEE Advanced Exam for getting admission to IIT.

    However, now you must appear for JEE Mains Exam to be eligible for JEE Advanced Exam.

    Exam Pattern of AIEEE and IIT-JEE has been changed from this year, so you will have to first appear for JEE Mains Exam and then after qualifying it, you can appear for JEE Advanced Exam.

    Recently, JEE Advanced Exam has been commenced on 2 June 2013 and Top 1.5 lakhs candidates appeared in it.

    JEE Mains Exam commenced in April month in both Online and Offline Mode.

    Offline Mode has been conducted on 7 April, 2013 and Online Mode conducted between 8-25 April, 2013.

    Well IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) is the top Engineering college in India.

    There are 15 IITs are there in various parts of Indian.

    Every year lacks of student participate in the IIT entrance Exams from all over the country.

    Presently IIT conduct entrance exam under the name

    + JEE Mains and

    + JEE Advanced

    Students who cleared in JEE Main can only write JEE Advanced.

    So you have to prepare well for these two exams.

    You have to study 11th and 12th with in depth knowledge and you must know the concept behind each thing.

    Best thing is you can join in any IIT coaching classes

    If you want to take admission in IIT Colleges then you have to face IIT-JEE Entrance Examination.
    This Exam is Also Called ISEET.

    Complete Details of IIT-JEE Examination:-

    IIT-JEE ::- Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination.
    ISEET ::- Indian Science-Engineering eligibility Test.

    IIT-JEE Exam is Conduct for Admission in Under Graduation Degree in Engineering stream From IIT Colleges.

    Required Qualification :

    Well IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology,there are many IITs are there in India.

    To join in any of these IIT you have to write two entrance exams conducted by them namely

    + IIT - JEE Mains and

    + IIT - JEE Advance

    JEE stands for Joint Entrance Exam.

    Students who have passed in JEE Mains can only appear for JEE Advance,So first you have to clear JEE Mains.

    Since this exam is conducted all over India there will be huge competition,more than a lakh of student will appear for this exam.

    You can join any IIT coaching classes,so that you can easily get clear all these entrance exams.

    Else you can prepare by your own,many standard books are available for IIT -JEE exam preparation.
