    UPSC Civil services Examination Eligiblity :

    UPSC Conducts the Civil services examination every year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, If your aim is to become IAS/IPS Officer then you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination. This examination are also called CSAT Examination.

    CSAT Stands for Civil services aptitude test and there are two papers in this examination and Both are of same Marks and Both are Objective. If you have cracked this examination, then you are eligible for Main examination, Main examination was Descriptive and For Main examination you have to choose the Optional subjects as per your Graduation.

    To apply for UPSC Civil services examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university, Final year graduate candidates are also apply for Civil services examination. So, If your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible for CSAT Examination. There is No minimum percentage is required to apply for CSAT Examination, any graduate passed candidates are apply for this examination.

    Upper age Relaxation :

    For SC/ST Candidates : 5 Year Age Relaxation is applicable

    For OBC Candidates : 3 Year Relaxation is applicable

    For Ex-Servicemen : 10 year Relaxation.

    There are age relaxations which are allowed in case of the UPSC exam. The candidates should be between 21-30 years in order to attend the exam. There is age relaxation in case of the reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC and other categories. The candidates belonging to the OBC category are allowed relaxation of 3 years. The candidates bonging to the SC/ST category are allowed 5 years of relaxation. The relaxation of 5 years is allowed in case of ex service men that had been in the military service for at least 5 years. There is age relaxation of around 10 years for the physically handicapped students.

    Age Relaxation For the UPSC Examination.

    For which examination you want to know the age relaxation. You not mention the exam name in the question. UPSC conducts many entrance examination in every year like IAS, IFS, IPS....etc. I am confusing that for which exam you want to know the age relaxation so please mention the exam name.

    For IAS, IPS examination the age relaxation is given below :
    • For SC/ST candidates :~ 5 years
    • For OBC candidates :~ 3 years.
    • For PD candidates :~ 10 years.

    The UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
    you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university.
    The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) carrying a maximum of 450 marks.
    The Question Papers (Test Booklets) are set in English & Hindi
    Paper - I General Studies 150 Marks
    Paper - II One of the optional subjects to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects 300 Marks.
    Age - limits between 21-30 years.
    SC/ST : 5 Year Age Relaxation is applicable
    OBC Candidates : 3 Year Relaxation is applicable
    Ex-Servicemen : 10 year Relaxation.

    UPSC conducts a lot of exam and there is some relaxation in the age given to reserved category candidates in some exams and that is::

    Your age must be between 21 years to 30 years.

    Relaxation for the Reserved categories
    • FOR SC/ST : 5 years
    • FOR OBC : 3 years
    5)NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:
    • FOR GENERAL CATEGORY: 4 Attempts
    • FOR SC/ST CATEGORY : No limit
    • FOR OBC CATEGORY : 7 attempts

    There is also no fee charge for the Application form for the reserved category candidates but they have to show some sort of Proof.

    One needs to be a GRADUATE Degree holder in any discipline from a recognised university to appear in the civil services exam conducted by the UPSC.

    The age limit for the same is from 21 - 30 years of age.Those in the final year may also apply.


    The age relaxation (UPPER AGE)is as follows-:

    5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    3 years for OBC candidates.

    10 years for EX-SERVICEMEN.

    To apply for this exam you need to attained 21 years of age.

    You need to have a Bachelor`s degree from a reconized university.

    Your age should be in between 21-30 years.

    Age relaxation is Available for SC/ST/BC/OBC Category students.

    For SC/ST Categorys 5 years relaxation is given.

    For OBC Category 3 years relaxation is given.

    For Ex-service men 5 years of relaxation isgiven.

    UPSc(Union Public Service Commision) Conducts an exam twice a year and the notification about the exam is given in the employment newspapers. To Become acivil services officer you need to crack the UPSC Examination or else called as CSAT Examination(Civil Services Admission Test).



    To apply for the Examination you need to complete your graduation from any discipline from a recognized University.



    Age Limits:

    >> Your Minimum age must be 21 years and maximum age must be 30 years in case you are from General Category.

    >> Age Relaxation For OBC is 3 years.

    UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Conducts the CSAT(Civil Services Admission Test) twice every year. the notifications about the Exam are given in the Employment newspapers or is updated in the Official Website.

    The CSAT Exam is Divided into Two papers Preliminary and Main Examination

    The Preliminary Exam Consists of 2 papers and each of them carry 200 Marks

    The Main Exam Consists of 7 Papers and Each Carry 300 Marks and the essay carries 200 Marks so the Main Examinations has a weight-age of 2000 Marks.



    To Apply for the UPSC Examinations you need to be a graduate from a recognized University . Final year students also can apply for the Examination. You age must be between 21 to 30 years.

    Age Relaxations
    .
    >> Age Relaxation For OBC is 3 years.
    >> Age Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years.


    Attempts:
    >> General Category Candidates ca Attempt 4 times.

    The age limit for UPSC exam is 21-30 years.And the age relaxation for OBC IS 3 years and for SC/ST 5 years and for Ex-servicemen 10 year.total marks for upsc exam is 2300 it consists of paper 1 and paper 2.Total no of optional subject available is 51.You need to complete your graduation so that you can appear for exam.ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

    if you want to become an IAS officer,then your age must be between 21 to 30 years for general candidates.
    there are some age relaxations given by Indian government to some reserved categories which are given below...

    =>for obc candidates 21-33 years.

    =>for sc/st candidates 21-35 years

    =>for ex serviceman candidates ,age relaxation of 10 years is given.

    No of chances given to respective category::

    =>general category :4
    =>sc/st category :unlimited

    The candidate must have attained the 21 years of age and must have not attained the age of 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination.

    You must complete your graduation from any recognized university.

    Age Relaxation:


    (3 years for ST/SC candidates.)

    (5 years for OBC)

    (10 years for Ex-service man.)

    The CSAT Exam is Divided into Two papers Preliminary and Main Examination

    The Preliminary Exam Consists of 2 papers and each of them carry 200 Marks

    The Main Exam Consists of 7 Papers and Each Carry 300 Marks and the essay carries 200 Marks so the Main Examinations has a weight-age of 2000 Marks.

    GENERALLY THE AGE LIMITS FOR THE GENERAL CATEGORY IS FROM 21 YEARS TO 3O YEAR AND A GENERAL CANDIDATE CAN ONLY AVAIL 4 CHANCES OF ATTEMPTS WITHIN THIS AGE RANGE.

    BUT THE RESERVED CATEGORIES HAVE GIVEN SOME OF AGE RELAXATION FOR ATTEMPTING THE EXAMS OF UPSC , AND THEY HAVE ALSO GIVEN MORE CHANCES OF ATTEMPT.

    I AM MENTIONING THE CATEGORIES WISE AGE RELAXATION AND NUMBER OF CHANCES THEY CAN AVAIL IN THAT PRESCRIBED AGE LIMIT.

    relaxation given to by
    5 years SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates
    3 years to OBC candidates
    5 years to in-service candidates
    5 years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs / SSCOs

    MY friend UPSC civil service exam is held to select candidates for IAS,IPS,IFS post.

    This exam is held every year.If you are a graduate from any stream and want to become a IAS/IPS officer then you can appear for CSAT exam.

    Eligibility for CSAT:

    1.You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam form and not more than 30 years of age.

    2. 3 yrs age relaxation if you are a OBC candidate.

    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:

    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    You must complete your Graduation Degree(No restriction in Min.Percent)

    Number of attempts::
    General candidates:
    four attempts.

    UPSC exam is SSC under exam which is held for FCI , Banks, railway for other govt. joining

    the age relexation in UPSC Is--

    For SC/ST Class : 5 Year Age Relaxation is applicable

    For OBC class: 3 Year Relaxation

    To apply for UPSC Civil services examination--

    you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline

    , if you are in final sem or year are also apply for Civil services examination. So, If your age should between 21 to 30 year

    Ex-Servicemen : 10 year Relaxation.

    The Question Papers comes in English & Hindi
    Paper - I General Studies 150 Marks
    Paper - II One of the optional subjects to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects 300 Marks.

    Attempts:

    General Category Candidates ca Attempt 4 times.

    OBC Candidates 7 times.

    for SC ST no limit for attempt exam.
