There is no upper age limit for UGC-NET or any SET examination for lectureship.
One should have a Masters degree with 55% marks (50% for SC,ST,PH candidates) or above
    from a recognised university.
Ph.D. holders who have passed masters with 50% marks or above, before September 1991,
can also apply for the SET.

    Hello,
there is no max age limit for NET / SET type of exams.. the only criteria is to pass the required PG degree with 55% marks..
So start preparing for the exam.. If you have not filled up for the June 2012 attempt then dont miss the chance for december attempt as forms will come in the month of october 2012...

    All the best

Re: What is the age limit for SET exam in Nagpur University?

The age limit is specified for only Junior Reserach fellowship post .
The candidates can apply uptown 28 years for JRF.
And after this age limit they are not eligible to apply.
And for Lectruership post no upper age is specified.

And you must have scored 55 %marks in post graduation course.
Less than 55 % are not qualified to give SET examination.
SET stands for State Eligibility Test which is conducted by almost every year for Lecturership post.
The SET qualified can apply for Lectruership in their state in any university.

    Thanks
