The age limitation for UPSC examinations :
the minimum age required is 21 years and maximum to 30 years.

Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates :
OBC 3 years and Sc/St 5 years .
So I think your age must be 27 years .
Therefore you are eligible to write UPSC examinations .
UPSC conducts various examination and requirement for every year is different ......
So you must have to check the details about examination on UPSC official site : www.upsc.gov.in .

Age limit differs from exam to exam for UPSC.
For example for civil services it is:

Age Limit

General - 21 to 30 yrs

OBC - 21 to 33 yrs

SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs

Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs

Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs


yes friend you are eligilble for UPSC exam.

You age is 27 at present . The minimum qualification for going through that exam is any degree/master degree and age limit for obc candidates is 32 and
only three attempts and st/sc cadidates have special reservation they age limit upto 35 and can attept 5 times so u are eligible for upse exam. Al the best for ur bright future thank you

Yes you are eligibility for upsc exam.
As you was borm in 1986 so your age is not exceeding the age limit of upsc.
and as your cast is sc do age relaxation is also there.

Eligibility is as follow:-
*A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.*

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:
* Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe:*upto a maximum of five years.
* Other Backward Classes:*upto a maximum of three years.

*) Yes. You are eligible for UPSC exams. The maximum age limit for OC candidates for UPSC exam is 30.

*) There will be 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates.

*) There will be 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/Handicapped persons.

*) So, There is no age problem for you. But, check the qualifications and height to the job which you want to go.

*) Minimum height of candidate should be 165cm.

for civil service exam,it held in once in a year by upsc.

as per the eligibility criteria ,the age limit for this=21-30 years.where as for sc/st it is 35 years

friend only satisfying the age limit does not mean you are eligible.you had to satisfy rest of the criteria like

-educational qualification=bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university

-must be indian

-medically fit and fine

-both men and women can apply for civil service exam
