    What is the age limit and number of attempts for NDA exams?

    about age limit and times of appearing in NDA exams
    I am B.Praveen Kumar,I am studying in 12th class.My date of birth is 28/01/1993,I want to know that can i appear for both the NDA exams that are going to be held in 2013.

    Dear Friend,

    To join NDA(National Defense Academy Exam),you must be an unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible.Not only that,you must complete your 10+2 th level of examination from any recognized university of India with PCM(PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY/MATHEMATICS).NDA examination is conducted twice in a year in April and October.
    There is no restrictions of on No. of Attempts in NDA,if your age lies in between 16.5 -19 years then definitely you are eligible to apply for this NDA examination until you become 19th.

    NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of Army, Naval and Air Force Wings .

    If you have completed 12th standard from science background then you are applicable for all post conducted by NDA .All 12th standard candidate can apply for Indian Army .

    The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate .There is no attempts limit .Upto 19 years of your age you can apply here .

    Your date of Birth is 28/01/1993 so your age is over 19 years old so you are not applicable for NDA exam.


    Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

    You must have Citizenship of India.

    The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

    Pattern for NDA exam :-

    Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
    Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

    Paper II - General Ability
    Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
    Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

    The candidate age should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age for NDA exam.
    So You can attend NDA exam any number of time between your age limit that is 16-1/2 to 19 years.

    Hi there,
    NDA stands for National defense academy.
    Eligibility criteria:
    1.You must be citizen of India.
    2.You must have completed your 12th class with at least 55% marks in PCM.(5% marks relaxation for SC/ST).
    3.Age limit:16.5-19 years
    4.You must be an unmarried male.
    5.There is no restrictions on no. of attempts.

    Seeing your D.O.B you have crossed the age of 19.So you can not apply for NDA.

    DEAR FRIEND

    The Acronym "NDA" Stands for National Defense Academy Exam.

    The NDA Exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission under the names of NDA-I & NDA-II.

    NDA-I Exam is conducted in the month of April whereas NDA-II Exam is conducted in the month of August every year.

    The minimum educational qualification required for NDA Exam is set to 12th standard by the UPSC. Also , there is no minimum % of marks required in 12th so you just need to have a pass in 12th from any recognized board.

    The Age Limit For NDA Exam is 165-19 years. There is no relaxation given to candidates whether they belong to any category in the upper age.

    Only male candidates who have Indian Citizenship and are unmarried are eligible to appear in the NDA Examination.

    Girl candidates are not allowed to apply for the NDA Examination.

    The NDA Examination gives chance to the candidates too join any of the following wings :

    * Indian Army

    * Indian Navy

    * Indian Air Force

    The NDA Examination is conducted in three phases namely :

    a) Written Exam

    b) SSB Interview

    c) Medical Test

    Note : candidate must pass all the three stages to pass the NDA Exam.

    The NDA Exam is conducted as per the following pattern :


    NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.This Exam is Conducted in Month of June and December .

    NDA Examination is conducted for admission for the following wings :-Indian Air Force , Indian Army ,Indian Navy .

    You must fulfill the below given criteria for NDA exam .

    Education Qualification:-

    =>Must have 12th standard degree .

    Final year of 12th degree can apply here .
    No Of Attempts:-

    There is no restriction for attempts in NDA exam .You can apply here upto 19 years old .

    So if you are fulfill the above criteria then you can apply for NDA II exam exam .Notification is given below .

    The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised university.

    Candidate should be a citizen of India.

    Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

    You must be an Indian origin.

    The age limits 16.5 years to 19 years, no age relaxation.


    Selection process:-

    Written exam,

    SSB interview,

    Medical test.
