    *CTET stands for Central teacher Eligibility Test and it is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for the Classes from 1-VIII in the government schools.

    *The Exam is conducted in the month of June every year.

    *There is No age limit for appearing in the CTET exams.

    The Educational qualification needed for the CTET EXAMS is:

    FOR CLASSES I-V:

    You should be Senior Secondary passed with 50% marks or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education.

    OR

    You should be Senior Secondary passed and must have got minimum of 45% marks or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent), in accordance with the NCTE.

    OR

    You should be a Senior Secondary passed and must have scored at least 50% marks or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

    OR

    You should be a Senior Secondary passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

    FOR CLASSES VI-VIII:


    You should be graduated and must have scored at least 50% minimum marks to be eligible for the CTET exams and there is a relaxation of 5% marks for Special cases.

    Dear friend,

    TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.

    You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.

    The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

    There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

    1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
    2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
    3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

    Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy

    2. Mathematics

    3. Environmental Study

    4. Language I (medium of instruction)

    5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

    As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each.

    Central Teacher Eligibility Test::

    The CBSE, New Delhi conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the recruitment of qualified aspirants to fill in the primary and lower primary teachers vacancies in CBSE.

    Those who are chosen in the written test have to appear for an individual interview

    Thereafter ; who clear all these procedures can expect employments as teachers in CBSE schools across the country.

    Structure and Pattern of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test


    Separate tests like Paper I and Paper II are conducted for Class I – IV and Class VI – VIII teachers.

    Both the tests are of objective type, which lasts for 1.30 hours.

    The test comprises of questions on Environmental Studies, Child growth and Pedagogy, Language and Mathematics.

    There will not be any negative marking in the test.

    Qualification Criteria for Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    The qualification criterion is different for Class I – V and Class I – VIII teachers.

    Class I – V:

    Aspirants should have passed the intermediate course in any of the streams from a recognized Board.

    Additionally, they should have done Diploma or graduation course in Elementary Education.

    The percentage requirement in the 10+2 course is 50% for B Ed candidates and 45% for B Ed aspirants.

    Class I – VIII:

    The educational qualification required to attend the test is a pass in the Bachelors’ degree program in Arts or Science disciplines with 50%.

    In addition, they should have done the graduation program in Education, which is recognized by the recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.

    Application Procedure for Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    Applicants can procure forms either from CBSE, New Delhi or from the selected branches of Syndicate bank.

    After duly filling the forms, aspirants should send it to the CTET Unit by post or in person prior to the last date enclosing the relevant documents.

    They can also rely upon the online modes for submitting the CTET forms

    Important dates

    submission of online application from 01-11-2011 till 25-11-2011.

    Last date for the receiving application by post: 30-11-2011

    Written test: 29-01-2012

    Paper-I: 10:00am to 11:30am

    Paper-II: 1:00pm to 2:30 pm

    Hi dude,CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.CTET exam is conducted by CBSE for recruting teachers for students from1 to 8th .These exam is conducted Once every year.For 1st to 5th :-You need to have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .You can also apply if your in the final year of Diploma course.

    For 6th to 8th:-You need to have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks.The exam consists of 2 papers.First paper for class 1st to 5th and seconf for class 6th to 8th.The exam is of 150 marks.If you are interested in teaching for both the batchs then you need to appear for both the exams.There is no age limit for this exam .So you can apply at any age.Application forms will be available from November.

    Last date of applying will be last of November.Last date of applying through post is 30th of November.Exam will be conducted in the month of Janurary mostly in the last week .

    Educational Qualifications for Primary wing:

    You need to complete your senior secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% or must pass out from the final year of 2 year diploma in Elementary education.

    (or)

    You need to complete your senior secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% or must appear for the final year of 2 year diploma in Elementary education(According to NCTE norms)

    For the Secondary stage:

    You must pass your Graduation and must pass or appear in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

    (or)

    Must pass your Graduation with a minimum of 45% ans must appear for 1 -year in B-Ed.

    You can fill up the application from online on the website of CTET. After that take the print out fill up the forms and attach it with the relevant documents and send it via speed post. the form costs 500/- for General Category candidates and for SC/ST and PWD it costs 250/-.

    the eligibility for this exam for classes 1-5:-

    Through this exam,vacancies in Primary and Elementary posts in CBSE are filled.

    There is no age limit to appear in this test.

    You can appear as many times as you want.

    However,you will have to fulfil some criteria to appear in this exam.

    Central Teacher Eligibility Test is an entrance exam conducted by CBSE for the recruitment of teachers for government and private schools. There are two papers in this exam-

    Primary stage- For the recruitment of teacher for classes I - V

    You can write CTET at any age.

    CTET - Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    Exam pattern :

    CTET will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) each carrying 1 mark. There will be 150 MCQs for the primary stage test and 210 MCQs for Elementary Stage. There will be no negative marking. The exam will be for 90 minutes.

    Eligibility for CTET :

    hello,
    Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian elgibility test for teachers. The test is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.

    This exam was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve standards in teaching. It was held for the first time in 2011.

    All graduates including B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc are eligible to take the test.
    A candidate has to score over 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test


    as such there is no age limit for CTET examination

    hi dear,
    *CTET stands for Central teacher Eligibility Test and it is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for the Classes from 1-VIII in the government schools.

    *The Exam is conducted in the month of June every year.

    *There is No age limit for appearing in the CTET exams.

    THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT FOR THE CTET EXAM

    EUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

    For Class I - V :

    Senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks from a recognized university

    For Class VI - VIII :

    B.A / B.Sc / B.Com with at least 50% marks & passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (OR)
    Senior secondary with at least 50% marks & passed or appearing in final 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed).
