    There is no age limit for the exam. The CTET exam will be held on 29th January 2012. The aspirants who have completed Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible to appear for the primary stage exam. The elementary stage exam requires graduates with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. The CTET exam is an objective type test. There will be two papers of CTET. There will not be any negative marking for wrong answers.

    *In the central teacher eligibility test age limit is 18 above can only written the exam .

    *The CTET exam will be held on 29th January 2012.

    *In +2 level minimum % is 50.

    Important Dates

    Sale of CTET Information Bulletin and Application Form: 05.11.2011 to 25.11.2011
    Date for making on-line application: 01.11.2011 to 25.11.2011
    Last date for receipt of application form in CBSE: 30.11.2011 (online and offline both)

    ELIGIBILITY
    The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.

    1.Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known),in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
    • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

    2. Minimum Qualification for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
    • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

    There is no age limit for the exam

    Hi dear frind,

    There is no age limit for CTET test.
    CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. This test is important for all aspiring teachers who wish to join as teacher in Central Government Schools like KVS/ NVS/ Tibetan School etc. States who do not wish to conduct State TET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) may consider the CTET score for recruitment of teachers.

    Here is the details of CTET exam:
    cost of CTET application form and Information bulletin
    i) For General/OBC candidates Rs.500/-
    ii) For SC/ST/Differently abled candidates Rs.25/-
    Important Dates:
    1) Apply Online from 8 April 2011 (8-4-2011)
    2) Sale of CTET Bulletin and Application Form 20 April 2011 to 10 May 2011
    3) Last date for submission of application form 15 May 2011 (both online and offline)
    4) Date of Exam: 26 June 2011 (26-6-2011) 1. Paper I 9.30 11 am, 2. Paper II 12.30 pm to 2 pm
    For people living in remote areas, last date for receipt of Application form is 22.05.2011
    Date of Examination:
    Paper-I : 26.06.2011
    9:30 to 11.00 hrs
    Paper-II : 26.06.2011
    12:30 to 14.00 hrs


    Pattern of Examination:
    The CTET examination will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking.
    There will be 2 papers of CTET
    i) Paper I will be for a person who intenda to be a teacher for classes I to V
    ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
    Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels will have to appear in both the papers.

    CBSE conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Test - CTET test.There is no age criteria so any one can apply here if he/she fulfill the below criteria .

    Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:

    1. At least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

    Note:

    (i) Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST .

    Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII:


    B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

    1. A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.


    2.Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

    Note:
    Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST .
