    Dear friend,

    Those candidate have completed their graduation degree with above 55% marks from any recogniged university are eligible for BANK PO exam.

    But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

    BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

    For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

    Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

    Bank exam is a very competitive exam .The Education qualifications qualifications required for this is , you must pass graduation degree from recognized by government of India. In addition, you must be a must be citizen of India.

    Age Limit To Appear in The Bank Exam:

    The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 28 years of age to general candidates.

    There is a age Relaxation for reservation candidates:

    > For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe the age relaxation up to 5 years.
    > For Backward Classes the age relaxation up to 3 years.
    > Persons With Disability the age relaxation up to 10 years.

    IBPS is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts bank exams.Around 19 Indian Public Sectors Banks have decided to conduct it.The score willl be valid for 1 year from the date of result.
    The IBPS has planned a qualifying test to select Probationary Officers and the management Trainee in different banks.Final merit will be decided on the basis of CWE score,Education qualification,age and preference in Interview and group dicisions.

    State Bank Group(SBI,SBT,SBM,SBH,SBP),HDFC Bank,ICICI Bank,Federal Bank,South Indian Bank,Axis Bank,Yes Bank,IDBI Bank,Kotak Mahindra and some private sectors are not a part of this entrance exam.

    Age limit is from 21 years to 30 years
    Any Graduate student from any discipline with 50% of aggregate can apply from a recognised University

    Exam Pattern:
    IBPS will organise a Common Written Examination comprising of:
    Descriptive Papers

    Objective carries 225 marks and the time given is 150 minutes.
    The 250 questions in this section includes:
    Verbal/Numerical Reasoning
    General English
    Questions related to Banking/Insurance/Investment sector,Computers and typical Quantitative aptitude.

    Descriptive carries 25 marks and the time given is 60 minutes.
    This section analyse the the English writing skills of the candidate.

    Dear friend,
    If you want to become a bank clerk then you have to appear for CWE exam .IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) 2 times in a year for Clerical Cadre posts. The Common Written Examination consists of objective types questions, total no. of questions is 250, total marks 250 and total time duration of 150 minutes.

    Eligibility for IBPS:

    1.You should be a citizen of India.

    2.Age limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 28 years of age If you are a general candidate.5 yrs relaxation to SC/ST,3 yrs to OBC and 10 yrs to PH candidates.

    Educational qualification:

    (1) You have to have a pass certificate with 60% marks in 10th Class. For SC,ST,OBC,EXSM candidates are just passed.

    (2) Or you have a pass certificate with 50% marks in Intermediate (10+2), For SC,ST,OBC,EXSM candidates are just passed.

    (3)Or you have degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent.

    You can also apply for PO(Probationary Officer) job in any public,private bank.

    PO is a first class officer,salary will be around 30,000 to 35,000 depends on different banks.You can also apply for marketing jobs etc.

    If you are a MBA then you can apply for Manager job in banks.

    Eligibility for PO exam:
    1.. Age -You should not below 21 years and not above 30 years.5% years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

    2.If you are a General Candidates then - 60% or more marks in class XII and 55% or more marks in Graduation.5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

    3.You should be a graduate from any stream.

    Paper pattern is follows:

    1.Objective type questions will be asked.

    3. Data Analysis and Interpretation

    4. Marketing Knowledge

    ->The Age limit to appear in the Common written examination is:

    MINIMUM AGE: 20 years.

    MAXIMUM AGE: 30 years.

    ->This common bank exam is conducted every year once by IBPS(Institute of banking and Personnel selection) for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Probationary officers and Management trainees and Clerks.

    ->There are a total of 19 public sector banks which participate in the IBPS exam.


    ->The score card of this exam is valid for one year.There is also negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

    ->You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized university to appear in the Bank exams for PO's and MT.

    There are 2 types of exams,,you can appear for :

    IBPS Bank Clerk CWE 2011 or Bank Clerk Common Written Exam 2011 for Clerks Recruitment is to be held by IBPS for Clerks in Public Sector Banks.
    The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct exam for clerks on 27th Nov 2011.

    Age limit: 18 28 yrs, as on 1.08.2011

    >>Secured 60% marks in Matric/ Std.10th/ SSLC OR50% marks in 12th or Intermediate/ Pre-university level OR Pass in degree (any discipline) from a recognized university, as on 1.08.2011

    >>Have to appear for test from a state where you prefer to work (can apply to vacancies in that state only, in future)

    >>Should possess proficiency in the official language of that state.


    There wil be 5 sections in exam
    >> Test of Reasoning
    >> Test of English Language-25 for objective,25 for descriptive
    >> Test of Numerical Ability
    >> Test of General Awareness

    There will be 2 types of banking exams.
    Banking clerical
    Bank PO's

    Eligibility for bank clerical:

    -The candidate must pass the 10+2 with 50% of marks in nay recognized board.
    -Your age should in between 18-28 years.
    Upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    Eligibility for bank PO's:

    -The candidate must pass the graduation with 55% of marks in any recognized university.
    -Your age should in between 21-30 years.

    Some banks prefer the graduation for the clerical post.

    Friend age limit and eligibility criteria for banking jobs differs from bank to bank also from post to post .

    The eligibility criteria for the IBPS clerk and probationary officer are as below:

    For clerk:

    >>You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized university.Final year candidates are also eligible for the examinations.

    >>The age limit is 20-28 years with an age relaxation of three years to obc and five years to sc/st respectively .

    For Probationary officer:

    >>Bachelor's degree is necessary academic requirement for this examinations.

    >>The age limit is 20-30 years with relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st as per government policy .

    Second one is the SBI entrance examinations for the clerk and Probationary officers.

    FOR clerk ,you must be 10+2 passed /appearing with age in the range of 18-26 years with relaxations applicable.

    For probationary officer exam ,you should have bachelor's degree as minimum qualifications.The age limit is 21-30 years.

    Note : operating and working language in computer language is mandatory for both.

    The Eligibility for Bank examinations

    For Clerical exam:
    Candidate should complete 12th with any stream from recognised board

    Candidates age should between 18-28 years

    For PO exam:
    Candidate should complete the degree with any stream from recognised university

    Candidates age should between 21-30 years

    Age Relaxation:

    For OBC candidates: 3 years

    For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
