dear you can go for CA after your 12th by writing the CPT entrance exam which you can see below , if you have degree certificate than you can enter into CA without CPT entrance exam and you have to write the IPCC directly. CA has high recognition in the society , CA are useful for the commercial enterprise.a charted accountants has versatility in career choosing:-

whole time practice,
part time service/part time practice
business/entrepreneurship
in industry
you have to cross three stages to complete this course

• stage1:-CPT (common proficiency test)
• stage2:-IPCC(integrated professional competence course)
• stage3:-articleship and final course

mainly you have to cross the CPT exam,
this entry level exam is much more important to you ,
this objective type paper which carries 200 multiple choice questions.
THE SYLLABUS FOR THE CPT.
fundamentals of accounting,:- this carries 60 marks
merchant laws :-this carries 40 marks , you have to attempt in two hours
general economics:-50 marks

CPT is an objective type test to which is conducted 2 times in a year generally in the month of June and December..It is open only to those students who are already registered with the[B] Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The questions asked in the examination are based on following subjects ::

It is divided in two session of 2 hours each and the examination is of total 200 marks .Examinations can be written either in ENGLISH or HINDI medium.Online examinations can be written only in ENGLISH
