Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UP SEE) is held by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, for the admission of candidates into technical courses in degree like Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, Fashion & Design, Computer Applications and Post Graduate courses like MCA / MBA. There are different entrance examinations for different subjects.

Structure and pattern of UP SEE
The candidates opting for different courses will have to write the examination based on the following syllabus. There will be 2 papers and no negative marking. The Common Entrance Exam which includes questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for B.Tech.

Qualification criteria of UP SEE
The State Entrance Exam (SEE) examination can only be written by the candidates who qualify the eligibility conditions of the UPTU. Candidates who live in Uttar Pradesh only are allowed to write the exam. The candidates must have completed the 3 year degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at class XII level or at degree level. Those candidates who wish to join the MCA course should have a 3 year degree course in any discipline for admission. Candidates with a degree in any stream can apply for the M.B.A course. Aspirants who are appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for the SEE exam provided that they fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of counseling.

Application procedure of UP SEE
The forms for the UPTU SEE are available at all the Head Post Offices of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Dehradun and Nainital. Candidates who wish to receive their application form through post must send a request letter along with a DD of Rs. 550 for General/OBC and Rs. 350.00 for SC/ST candidates, taken in favor of the Finance Officer, State Entrance Exam (SEE) , payable at UPTU, Uttar Pradesh. The request letter should be accompanied by two self addressed stickers. The Information brochure and application forms can also be bought from the particular branches of Allahabad Bank on payment of cash. The candidates should note that the application forms must be sent to the University Office by Speed or Registered post only.
