CDS stands for Combined Defence Services examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and you have to apply for this examination as per your Educational Qualifications. Notification Published two times in a year in the official websites or in the employment newspapers. Eligible candidates may fill the application form online only.

To apply for CDS Examination you have to complete your Graduation from a recognized University, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination.

This examination is conducted for selecting candidates in these academy:

-->> Indian Military Academy(IMA)
-->> Officer's Training Academy
-->> Naval academy
-->> Air force Academy

To apply for all these academy, you have to complete your Graduation from a recognized University and must have completed Intermediate examination with maths and physics as a compulsory subjects.

If you have not study these subjects in your Intermediate examination, then you are not eligible for Naval and Air force, then you can only apply for IMA/OTA Academy.

To apply for CDS Examination, your age should between 19 to 25 years.

The selection procedure includes, Written test conducted by UPSC, SSB interview and Medical test.

Firstly, you have to cracked the written test by UPSC, and if you passed in written, only then you are eligible for SSB.

Examination is objective with negative marking and you have to attempt paper accordingly.

You have to prepared for this examination as per the pattern and syllabus. You can get syllabus from the official website of UPSC.

Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDS exam OR B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

Final Year student are also eligible for CDS exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

Your age should be in between 21 to 25 years old.There is no age relaxation provide for reserved category .
