University of Pune Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam

This university has been offering doctoral program in Law to the candidates who want to acquire knowledge in the core areas of Law. Such candidates should qualify an entrance test held by University of Pune to pursue the doctoral program in Law.

Structure and Pattern of University of Pune Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam

This law entrance test will have two stages. First stage of the entrance exam will be a General Aptitude Test. Only objective type questions will be asked in this aptitude test.

Maximum marks specified for the first stage is hundred. Minimum 50% marks are required for the candidates to qualify this stage. If the candidates do not possess the required qualifying marks, then they will not be allowed to attend the second stage of this entrance exam. In the second stage, there will be objective type questions and descriptive type questions. Candidates can score up to hundred marks during this stage. Descriptive questions will be asked for total 80 marks. The remaining 20 marks will be distributed uniformly among the objective questions. Eligibility Criteria of University of Pune Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam

Candidates who have secured minimum 55% marks during their Master’s degree in Law are eligible to apply for this law entrance test. Those who possess minimum 50% marks during their graduation are also eligible, if they have fifteen years of experience in the concerned field. Sponsored employees working National Institutes as Assistant Director or above are allowed to write this entrance test, only if they produce no objection certificate from the concerned authority. Graduates having 60 years of age or above are also eligible.
