    University of Delhi Super-specialty Entrance Test (SET) for Admission to DM, M.CH Courses

    University of Delhi conducts the DU Super-specialty Entrance Test for the selection of aspirants who are qualified to pursue the Super Specialty DM , M.CH Courses within the University. Those who clear the test and the interview thereafter can seek for admissions in medical institutes that come under Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University. The test is held in the month of June every year.

    Structure and Pattern of the DU Super-specialty Entrance Test

    The structure of the exam will be of objective and subjective type. There will be two parts in the test – Part 1 and Part II. The test comprises of questions on the qualifying exam technical subjects. In the first part, there will be 80 multi-choice questions. Descriptive type questions will be included in the second part. The test will last for a time period of 3 hours and 20 minutes.

    Qualification Criteria for the DU Super-specialty Entrance Test

    The pre-requisite criterion to apply for the test is a pass in the MBBS examination from a recognized medical institute. Aspirants must also complete the one-year internship thereafter. In addition, those who wish to apply for the DM courses have to complete the MD or DNB courses in medicine. Like wise, completion of the MS Surgery or DNB Surgery is the pre-requisite criterion to apply for the M.Ch. Courses.

    Application Procedure for the DU Super-specialty Entrance Test

    Applicants can obtain forms for the SET from the Faculty of Medical Sciences Department of Delhi University in person or by post. They can pay the form fee by a crossed M.I.C.R. DD or Cheque drawn in favor of any Nationalized Bank. The payment should be made in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi. After completely filling the forms, aspirants should submit the same to the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University only by registered or speed post.
