If you want to Crack IIT Entrance exam then you have to do a lot of hard work.
Firstly IIT paper is mainly make from the NCERT Books 11th and 12th class.
So don't forget to read them. They are one of the good books to Crack IIT-JEE entrance exam.
There are two papers and both of them includes Physics Chemistry and Maths paper and both of them are very tough to solve,.pattern of IIT-JEE exam is always change and this year also it was change.
Try to solve Previous year papers.
    It helps a lot.
I think the best books for IIT-JEE entrance is Arihant's books,.It includes Easy concepts which is easily understand by average student.

    Dear iit aspirant,
Its enough to study the books which are prescribed in your b.tech syllabus book...but practise the previous year question papers more...cracking iit rank is not impossible but you should have consistent hardwork and focused mind on your goal...all the best

Re: Which type of books I need to refer in order to crack the IIT entrance?

IIT 's are ranked among the top engineering colleges in India
So, it is very difficult to get admission in IIT.
Just reading books is not enough for holding a good rank in IIT entrance exam.
You will have to practice a lot .
For that you can purchase previous years papers and practice them again and again.
If you have any problem in topics Internet is the best friend,
and if you want to have lecture on any topic you can visit www.youtube.com

On YouTube you can also search for IIT and can find the desired topic in that group.
IIT 's have a huge collection of YouTube videos and in these videos lectures are delivered by the IIT teachers.

    Best of luck

some of the points to crack in IIT are
you have to prepare the NCERT BOOKS,
while coming to practice you need to clear all the concepts applicable .rather than focusing on some of the particular types of questions ,
you shouldnot be discouraged ,some of the books are

Re: Which type of books I need to refer in order to crack the IIT entrance?

IITs are regarded as the India's most toughest competitive exams.
Cracking IIT exam is a not an easy task to do.
According to me you should follow NCERT books specially because most the exam questions are from NCERT books of 11th and 12th class.
You should try to solve previous years IIT papers.
If you are facing any difficulty, then you can search your query on Internet.
As it is said"Practise makes a man perfect",so I would suggest you to practise a lot,it will be very advantageous to you.
Only repetive practise of exam questions and your hard work will make you eligible to crack IIT.

    All the best.

IIT Entrance exam is one of the Prestigious Entrance exam of India .To Crack IIT you need more than Book that is a lot of determination.
First thing there are no books available in the market that can teach you everything and make you Brainy in One Day.
Second have confidence in yourself ,Dont let your self down at any stage of your preparation.
You refer your NCERT books for all the three subjects Physics, chemistry and Mathematics.
Other books which i refer you to read in physics is Physics by H.C. Verma, Problems in physics by I.E. Irodov, and Resnick and Halliday.
For chemistry and Mathematics your notes you make on institutes ,listen to your teacher is must for all the three subjects .
I didnt found any book during my time other than NCERT for both chemistry and Mathematics that clear doubts than any other books .
    Be Determined ,Dnt Give up.

    Good Luck!!

    Hello friend ....

As IIT entrance exam is one of the toughest exams held on globe the paper to be solved is completely filled with questions related to other part of subject which requires not only the theory of the subject but also the practical knowledge related to the subject........

I suggest you the foolowing books .....

    Mathematics:
    Tata Mc.GrawHill
    Arihant series books

    Physics:
    Concepts of physics -H.C.Verma
    University physics -Sears and zemansky

    Chemistry:
    NCERT books

In order with these books you should go through the previous papers of IIT JEE which helps a lot to change your approach to solve a problem
