Yes ! You can crack if you are really determined . Just have faith in yourself.

If you choose to study all by yourself, then here are some tips which you may find useful:

- Start your preparation right from the beginning of Class XI and exploit the 2 years to the fullest.

- You should give importance to all the topics.

- Read and note some important points on the particular topics means that you have to note the summary of the chapter for simpler to your study.

- Apply for some papers conducts by coachings or online test for your improvements.

- Remember that unless you give tests, you won't get the feeling of IIT-JEE.

- Plan your study in a systematic way. Devote equal time to all the three subjects.



Read the theories very thoroghly and strengthen your basics.

Mathematics: Quadratic Equations & Expressions, Complex Numbers, Probability, Vectors, Matrices in Algebra; Circle, Parabola, Hyperbola in Coordinate Geometry; Functions, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Definite Integral in Calculus.

Physics: Mechanics, Fluids, Heat & Thermodynamics, Waves and Sound, Capacitors & Electrostatics, Magnetics, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics and Modern Physics.

Chemistry: Qualitative Analysis, Coordination Chemistry & Chemical Bonding in Inorganic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium in Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, complete as a topic.

Try to do as many number of Quality problems as possible to develop a sound confidence level. Students are advised to avoid selective study in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the number of questions are more in the objective papers with intermingling of concepts from various topics.

IITJEE easily stands out as the most toughest engineering entrance exam.
It is so because of the level of competiton - written by lakhs for a few thousand seats.

There isnt a thing like focussing on certain topics and able to score well.IITJEE tests your understanding in every concept and its application.

However vaguely I can give you a few tips:

1.FOCUS more on class 11 syllabus as they bring 55% questions.

2.In PHYSICS there are sureshot questions in Mechanics. So practise them well

3.In CHEMISTRY highly asked areas include Kinetics and Thermodynamics.

The paper pattern is as follows:

PAPER I:

1.Consists 3 parts: Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics

2.Each part has 4 sections.

3.Section I : Single answer correct Max marks 21
3 marks for right answer and -1 for wrong ones.

4.Section II: Multiple answer correct Max mark 16
4 marks for right answer and no negative markings.

5.Section III: Paragraph type Max marks 15
3 for right and -1 for wrong

6.Section IV:Integer answer type max marks 28
4 for right and no negative

7.TOTAL MAXIMUM:240 TOTAL QUESTIONS: 69

PAPER II:

1.Consists 3 parts: Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics

2.Each part has 4 sections.

For getting good rank in IIT you prepare all the 3 subjects but as CHEMISTRY is the simplest part of iit syllabus so you should give much more attentions on this subject. In chemistry inorganic chemistry is too scoring subject.
