    CLAT stands for common Law Admission Test and it is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes. This examination is conducted every year and you can apply for this examination till then when you are less the given age eligibility.

    To apply for LLB Course your age should not be more than 20 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Candidates.

    There is no age restriction to apply for Post graduate CLAT Entrance examination. For this year CLAT Examination was already completed and the result was also declared. If you have missed the chance to apply for CLAT Examination this time, then please wait for next year CLAT Examination Notification.

    To apply for Under graduate degree course, you have to complete your Intermediate examination with minimum 50% Marks from a recognized Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination.

    To apply for Post graduate degree course, you have to complete your LLB/BL Degree course with minimum 55% Marks from a recognized University.

    So, please apply for this examination as per your eligibility, Please prepared well for this examination as per the syllabus and pattern. Only then you will get success in this examination.

    Examination Pattern:

    ~~ English including Comprehension : 40 Marks
    ~~ General Knowledge/ Current Affairs : 50 Marks
    ~~ Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) : 20 Marks
    ~~ Legal Aptitude : 50 Marks

    Dear, you can appear for CLAT exam if your age is not more than 20 if you belong to general/obc, and 22 in case of SC/ST.

    To be eligible for the two year LL.M. Degree Course,you have to give CLAT exam, you should have passed the LL.B/B.L. degree or an equivalent degree with at least 55% marks . (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC* and persons with Disability*).

    Eligibility:

    CLAT -- The Common Law Admission Test.




    This is an Test conducted for both Under Graduate(U.G) and Post Graduate(P.G) Law Programmes.

    Depending on the merit in the examination, you will allotted a seat in the Top Law Colleges.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    For U.G Programme :

    You should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate i.e 10+2 Certificate or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board.

    If you have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

    Your percentage in 10+2 must not less than 50% marks in case if you belong to General Category.

    And 45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD.

    Age should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates.

    And 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability.

    For P.G Programme :

    You should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University.

    The certificate must be not less than 55% marks in aggregate and 50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability.

    If you have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

    Your age must not exceed 29 years in case of General/OBC candidates.

    And 34 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability.


    So as per these statements, you can apply for CLAT Exam till you do not cross the Age Limitations.

    Total number of multiple-choice questions of one mark each - 200
    Duration of examination - Two Hours

    Yes you can go for B.A L.L.B course after the completion of your Graduation with your +2 qualification and i say that there is no particular age limit to pursue Law Degree.

    CLAT ( Common Law Admission Test ) conducted across India for the young aspirants who wanted to pursue Law course in India's top Law Universities like
    NALSAR - Hyderabad, NLSIU - Bangalore, NLIU - Bhopal, NUJS - Kolkata, NLU - Jodhpur, HNLU - Raipur, GNLU - Ahmedabad.

    The admission is strictly based on the CLAT merit based and there are different programs offered at Law colleges like

    I. B.A, L.L.B (Hons)
    :

    The duration of the program is 5 years and to join the eligibility requirements are you must have passed minimum 10+2 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% aggregate ( 45% in case of SC/ST/PH )

    If you have an L.L.M Degree from any recognized University securing not less than B-Grade or an aggregate 55% are eligible. you have to take an admission test for the applying University and if you have qualified UGC NET / JRF, SLET taking the admission test is not necessary.

    There is no age limit and you can apply at any age group.

    IV. Ph.D : ( Doctor of Philosophy ) :

    - To do this course you must have Master Degree from any recognized University with not less than 55%. or

    - Obtained a Degree in Law and Masters in M.Phil in social sciences, humanities and sciences. or

    - Degree in Law or

    - Judge of any state High Court in India with 3 years experience or Judge of Supreme Court.

    There is no age limit and you can apply at any age group.

    So dude these are the various entrances to obtain Highest Degree's in Law and for any category there will be no Age limit and if you meet Education eligibility then you can go for attempting the CLAT exam.

    * CLAT stands for "Common Law Admission Test".
    * Its an all India law entrance exams for candidates like you who think their future in law.
    * You can give the examination for admission to Under-graduate and post graduate programmes.
    *If you want to take admission in under-graduate course , then your age must not exceed 20 years and you should have secured 55% of marks in your HSC exam.
    *If you want to take admission in post graduate course , then age doesn`t matter but you must hold a LLB/BL degree to be eligible for this course.
