Very firstly, Congratulations on your distinction in ICSE boards.

Presently, you are under-qualified to apply for any service of National Defence Academy.

One has to complete one's +2 in order to be eligible to appear for NDA exam.

It is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA I and NDA II.

Specifically for Air Force and Navy, one has to be a +2 pass-out along with studying Physics and Mathematics in one's +2.
This requirement is not asked for fulfillment, in case of Indian Army. It only requires +2 pass-outs from any academic stream.

Hence, if you are all sure of your career with Indian Air Force, you can complete your +2 with the specified subjects.
That would be an added advantage if you complete it with excellent marks.

Or else, if you want to enter into IAF after your graduation, you can apply for Combined Defence Services Examination, but I would suggest you to go for NDA exams.

You will also have to fulfill other eligibility criteria like :

    >>A candidate must either be :

    (i) a citizen of India, or

(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or

(iii) a subject of Nepal, or

(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

    (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    >> A candidate must be in the age range of 16.5-19 years of age.

    All the best!! Fly high!!

    Hey friend,

To join in Indian Air Force after completing 10th,it is not possible as you are ineligible for joining in IAF

To join in Flying Branch you need to have completed a degree as you can write the AFCAT Exam.

But as you have completed only 10th you are not eligible for joining. If you want to join in Indian Air Force as early as possible means you should not write the NDA Exam.

The NDA Exam offers you to join in Indian Air Force and other defence forces as it is a defence force of India.

For joining in this force you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria needed for the exam in order to apply for the exam:

    Eligibility Needed For NDA:

Candidate applying for the exam must be a citizen of India and must be a unmarried male candidate

The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years.

Education qualification needed for joining in Indian Air Force is that the candidate must have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects.

Apart from all this the candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

As you are not satisfying the education qualification you are now ineligible for the exam, but yu can apply for the exam when you finish your respected +2.
