    Both these exams are conducted by separate bodies. NET is conducted at the National level while SLET is conducted by each state separately. UGC conducts the NET exam while SLET is conducted by each state. By clearing the NET one can apply for a job in any state in the country. However on clearing the SLET one can apply for jobs only in that particular state. For both these exam the minimum qualification required is post graduation. Also candidates appearing for this exam will need to appear for the paper depending on their specialisation during post graduation.

    YES NEt and SLET are conducted by separate board.

    NET is a national level examination

    And SLET is a state Level examination.

    Educational qualification for both the examination is same.

    You must have Post Grdaution degree minimum passed with 55%.

    Less than 55% are not allowed to apply for examination.
