    Is there any relaxation for Divorce women applicant in IBPS PO exam? Can I get registered for IBPS PO exam if my D.O.B is 10-17-1979?

    good evening
    my d.o.b is 10-07-1979. i want to apper in ibps po exam 2013. i am divorcee female candidate, could i get age relaxation in coming exam

    Hello Madam

    No, there is not any such criteria for Divorce women applicant's in the IBPS PO / Management Trainee examination.

    Age of the applicant must have minimum 2o years and maximum 30 years during the notification released date. Age relaxation is acceptable for following category's

    1. SC/ST - 5 years
    2. Other Backward Class - 3 years
    3. Person with Disabilities - 10 years
    4. Ex-Service men - 5 years
    5. Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir - 5 years
    6. Persons affected in 1984 riots - 5 years
    7. Persons who completed 5 years of service in RRB's - 5 years
    8. Clerical Employees of participating PSB's - 6 years.


    So madam i say that you can get the any above said age relaxation if you are applicable for that, other than the divorce category as it is not said by the IBPS body.

    IBPS is an autonomous body, authorized by IBA for the entry into 19 Public Sector Banks through a Common Written Exam all India to the cadres PO/Management Trainee and Clerks.

    Madam, you must have completed any Degree, from any recognized college to being eligible for PO's cadre.

    Coming to the applying procedure, if you are eligible for the post as given in the advertisement then you go for applying Online mode by the paying fee for the examination.

    PO's written examination mainly consists of 2 papers:

    Paper I consists of questions based on Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge.

    Paper II
    is a descriptive on English Composition ( Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc ).

    The total for both the papers is for 250 marks for 250 questions.

    When once you are qualified in IBPS CWE, printed score cards will be sent to you, and it will be valid for one year so that you can apply for any 19 banks PO's posts based on your marks obtained.

    IBPS Bank Po's Examination Qualification :

    Complete a degree in any stream from a recognized university with min of 60% marks (SC/ST candidates 55%)

    Age limit between 20 to 30 years for General candidates
    age relaxation as per govt rules

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personal Selection Common Written Examination for Recruitment of Probationary Officer 19 Public Sector Banks .


    Sorry to say that there is no age relaxation provide for Divorce women .

    Those candidate have completed Graduation degree from recognized university are applicable for IBPS exam.

    But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .

    Age relaxation:-

    OBC (non creamy layer)- 3 years
    SC,ST,Ex-Servicemen, Persons affected by 1984 riots, Persons who have completed 5 years of service in RRBs - 5 years
    Physically Disabled- 10 years

    Pattern for IBPS PO Exam:-

    • Reasoning :- 50 questions - 50 Marks .
    • English Language :- 50 Questions - 50 Marks .
    • Quantitative Aptitude :- 50 questions - 50 Marks .
    • General awareness :- 50 questions - 50 Marks .
    • Computer awareness :- 50 questions - 50 Marks .
    • Descriptive Paper :- 50 Marks .
