    Yes there is common entrance exam for all the clerical post. This exam is conducted by IBPS. Recently the exam for clerks was conducted. You can expect the next exam in six months time. The test includes papers in English language, current affairs, reasoning, computer awareness and quantitative aptitude. The pattern of test is objective type questions. There is negative marking for each wrong answer.

    Ofcourse! there is no common exam for all the banks in India. But the IBPS is conducting common written exam (C.W.E.) for the 19banks which are nationalized banks in India. The I.B.P.S. is conducting the exam for the posts P.O. and Clerk.

    Yes there is a common entrance exam for clerk post, which is conducted by IBPS.The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has announced the recruitment 2011 - 2012 for the post of Clerical Cadre (Clerks) in 19 Public Sector Banks through the Common Written Examination (CWE). The Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment 2011 - 2012 for Clerks has been approved by each of the 19 participating public sector banks and the managing committee of the Indian Bank's Association (IBA) with the consent of the Govt. of India. All the main / important details like number of vacancies, age limit, pay scale, name of banks, how to apply, qualification & eligibility etc. regarding Clerk Recruitment 2011 - 2012 in 19 Public Sector Banks by IBPS are given in website ,that is www.ibps.in .

    The interested candidates should have a completed their class 12th with 60%marks

    Those students who have got degree in any streams can also apply for the clerical exams.

    You should be between 18-23 years .There is some relaxation in upper age limit is given to the SC/ST/OBC students .

    you need to write CWT(Common Written Test) conducted by IBPS. this is the common written test for more than 17 private banks which are tied up with IBPS.

    yes friend,there is a common written examination for the 19 public banks all over India while SBI conducts its own entrance exam.
    The common exam is held by IBPS called as C.W.E.
    IBPS has on its panel over 750 academicians,bankers over 2000 trained test administrators and other professionals of proven integrity ,all over the country.It has the capacity to conduct written examinations for the 19 public sector banks in India in over 150 cities/towns for over 300 thousand candidates in one session.
    The test is held for the clerical as well as probationery posts (PO)
    The structure of test for clerical post includes:
    1. Aptitude
    2. Reasoning
    3. Data Interpretation
    4. Computer Knowledge Quiz
    The eligibility for the clerical prst is to have atleast 60% in matric or atleast 50% in 12th.The minimum age for the test is 18 years while the maximum is 28 years.Relaxation of 5 years for ST,3 years for background communities,10 years for disabled,9 years for widows and some other classes.

    Yes there is a common entrance examination for entering into the bank clerical posts,the examination is conducted by the IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).It is the national level examination conducted by the IBPS.IBPS invites online applications for the common written examination,you can also download it and can apply for the entrance examination,There will be different examinations conducted for different posts,such as for clerical,PO's.etc..

    hello
    there is a Ibps bank entrance exam which consists of 19 bank connections for one single exam. this exam held for both clerkcial and po's post differently. this exam will held twice in a year for every six months. for clerkcial post a candidate need to be undergraduate and for po's post must be graduated from a recognized university. age must be between 18 to 30 years.

    Yes, you have a common entrance exam for the bamk's clerk post. The exam is conducted by Institute of Banking Personal Selection(IBPS). The name of the exam is Common Written Examination. This exam is conducted for 19 nationalized banks in India. You can write this exam for the clerk's post

    Yes,there is common entrance examination for all the clerical post across the country.

    IBPS i.e Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination was conducted twice in a years.

    but state bank of India is not participating in this common entrance examination.After clearing this examination your appointed in any of the 19 banks.

    ->Yes There is an exams which conducts the COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION for the recruitment of candidates for the Clerical Post in the banks across the country and there are a total of 19 public sector banks which participate in this COMMON WRITTEN EXAM.

    ->The Exam is conducted by IBPS and This exam has negative marking with each wrong answer a marks of 0.25 number will be deducted.

    ->There is some eligibility criteria to appear in the exam of IBPS for Clerical post and that is:


    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERKS:

    1)You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

    OR

    2)You must have passed 12th class with 50% marks.

    OR

    3)You must have passed 10th class with 60% marks.

    4)There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST/OBC category candidates.

    5)Your age must be between 18 to 28 years.

    6)You must be a Citizen of INDIA.

    There are a total of 19 public sectors participating if you wanted to go through IBPS.

    if you want to apply for bank clerk post than you should apply for IBPS CWE exam. IBPS(institute of banking personnel selection) conducts the combined written test for recruiting eligible

    candidates to 19 public sector banks. the candidates can apply online for the ibps exam after submitting the application fee through the bank challan. the candidates must fullfill the given

    criterias while applying for IBPS CWE CLERK exam-

    Yes...there is a common written exam which conducts separately for Bank clerks and PO's.


    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    IBPS will conducts the common written exam separately for clerks and PO's.For this 19 banks are participating.

    Eligibility for PO's:


    • You have to pass your Graduation with 60% of marks in any recognized university
    • Your age should in between 21-30 years.
    • You have the good communication skills.

    Eligibility for clerks:


    • You have to pass your 10+2 with 60% of marks in any recognized board.
    • Your age should in between 18-28 years.
    • You have the basic Knowledge on Computers.

    After clearing the exam they can give the Score card.

    The score card is valid for 1 year.

    Yes,IBPS is conducting common written exam for all the 19 government sector banks for both clerical cadre and PO position cadres.For IBPS common written exam you need to pay only one time of payment and only one time of exam is enough.It is an advantage to the candidates,here no need to apply for all the banks and no need to pay all the banks individually.One time of payment is enough.

    Candidates who want to get job in government sector banks,it is an advantage to you people to get job in Government banks.If you qualified in this exam then you will be having chance to get jobs in all the 19 government sector banks.

    To apply for IBPS clerical cadre exam,You must be completed Intermediate with 55% of marks And If you qualified graduation.Just minimum qualification is enough to apply for IBPS clerical cadre exam.
