    (i) Age limits : Prescribed age-limits are 21-30 years as on 1st August, 2009 for all the services/posts (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/Sts, OBCs

    (iii) No. of permissible attempts : Four (Seven attempts for OBCs and P.H. Candidates belonging to General Category and no limit for SCs/STs

    yes for Bc ( backward classes ) three years are exempted .

    eligibility for civil service exam
    • candidate who are Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible .

    • Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognised by the government


      are also eligible.

    • To appear for the exam candidate must have attained the age of 21 year and not more


      then age of 30 yea
      rs the year in which examination is being held.


    age limit prescribed will be relaxable
    • upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

    • upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes

    CIVILS Services include IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS etc. great Services which in Conducted by UPSC every year.

    You are a BC Candidate so There is age limit relaxation for you i.e 3years..

    It means even at the age of 33years you are eligible to write CIVILS...


    Information regarding CIVILS:::

    ->UPSC-Union Public Service Commission conducts CIVILS every year and it has some eligibility criterias...

    Eligibility criteria for CIVILS:::

    * * You must be a citizen of India.
    * Age limits for CIVILS:
    - You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    ->Preliminary Examination would consist of two papers- Paper I and Paper II.
    Syllabus for CSAT as proposed by UPSC
    (Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs....
    ->(Paper II) (200 marks) – Duration : Two hrs
    ->The final interview is of 300 marks.

    * Number of attempts::
    - General candidates: four attempts.
    - Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
    - Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

    Dear Friend,

    In IAS examination the age relaxation is given to the OBC,SC/ST and Physically Challenged candidate.
    OBC are given 3 years age relaxation where SC/ST and PH candidate are given 5 years age relaxation.

    If a BC-A candidate belongs to any one of the above stated category then the candidate can get the age relaxation else he will be treated as the General candidate.

    Don't worry I am provide the all the details of the Civil Service examination.

    There is no special relaxation for B.C.A candidates and the age limits are common to the all the candidates.

    Civil Services examination is a one of the top services in the Union Public Service Commission and the examination was conducted once in a year.



    Civil Service Examination consist various jobs like I.A.S,I.P.S,I.F.S,Revenue services,Defence services,Railway services.....etc.

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Service Examination :-

    The candidate must be a Citizen of India.

    The candidate must have a attained the age of 21 years and must not attained the age of 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination.

    The age relaxation is given to the various reserved categories and the categories are SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/PD category.

    Upto Maximum five years is given to the SC/ST candidates.

    Upto Maximum Three years is given to the OBC candidates.

    Upto Maximum five years is given to the Ex-service candidates.

    Upto Maximum Ten years is given to the PD candidates.

    INDIAN CIVIL SERVICES which many young students had their dream to achieve it. It is the major back bone for Indian government machinery and constitutes all the major departments which run the state.

    CIVIL SERVICES exam is the most prestigious held by UPSC ( UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ) every year. CIVIL SERVICES is popularly known as IAS ( INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE ) or UPSC.

    No there are no relaxation for BCA candidates.Relaxation is only given to SC/ST and OBC also to PH candidates.IAS is a very pretentious exam and you need to prepare yourself for it.You have to work hard.

    The age limit for UPSC exams is-

    * For general candidates - 21 to 30 years.

    * For SC/ST candidates - 21 to 35 years.

    * For OBC candidates - 21 to 33 years.

    Yes there is some age relaxations are providing for the OBC candidates with respect to the civil exam. But before getting the benefit of the reserved category you should have valid proof of your category.     Dear friend,

    The CIVIL SERVICE EXAM is conducted by UPSC in every year.

    Those are graduate are applicable for civil service exam.

    But your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation is provide 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidate.

    The OBC candidate age limit is 33 years.(MAXIMUM)

    So if you want to apply for civil service exam you can visit UPSC own website.
