Yes you are eligible for the PO banks exams……….
For the PO exams you should be graduated with minimum 55% marks so you are eligible and can apply for the PO exam……….
And it is good to give the exam of PO.
And now days the banks are conducted a common exam of banks that is called the IBPS exam in which the 19 banks are there.
For 19 banks you should give a common exam of IBPS.
And I think there is no dates release for the PO exams……………

Re: Tentative dates for PO exam of various banks? Am I eligible for PO bank exams after scoring 55.1% in graduation?

Yes off course you are eligible to pursue Banking probational officer exams after completing your graduation as the minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for these exams is to have a graduation certificate from a recognized university from any discipline
according to your own preference. As far as the common banking exams are concerned,it is usually conduced in the month of
September and March. Recently, the concerned authority has removed the requirement to appear for various exams for different
banks. Now you can appear for just one examination that is the common banking exam and on the basis of score obtained by you
in this exam you would be eligible to sit for the interviews of various nationalized banks of the country.

Only State bank of India is the only bank that conducts a separate procedure for the purpose of selecting candidates
for the positions of probational officer and clerk. And as far as the percentage is concerned you require only 50% in
graduation to appear for the common written exam.

The minimum mark required in graduation is 60% for the bank PO officer. So you have very less marks in your graduation and you are not eligible to apply. Now all 19 public bank exams will be conducted by the IBPS and in this exam all clerk, PO and specialist exams are included. In this common written exam SBI and its associated banks are not included. So more information you can find on the IBPS website ww.ibps.in
