The All India Bar Council Examination is conducted to test the advocates ability to practice the profession of law.It is a compulsory exam for the law students to write this exam if only you enroll as an advocate under Advocates Act and you will also need to submit the proffs of enrolling.

The syllabus of the AIBE is:

>Civil Procedure Code and Limitation Act
>Constitutional Law
>Contract Law, including Specific Relief, Special Contracts, and Negotiable Instruments
>Criminal Law I: The Indian Penal Code
>Criminal Procedure

>Jurisprudence
>Professional Ethics and the Professional Code of Conduct for Advocates
>Property Law
