It is good decision for you to if you are a Teacher post aspirant.
    Advantages:
1.It is the basic qualifiation to become a teacher post in Govt Sector.
2.It will be easy for you to survive once you were into faculty side.
3.It will gain lot of knowledge regarding this in less span of time.

    DisAdv:
1.You have to opt D.Sc once you have done with B.Ed.
    2. With B.Ed you cannot get much scope to get good job.So you have to opt for D.Sc

For sure i can say one thing that once you can settle as a Teacher Your life will be happy and it is a riskless job with great income.

    All the best...........

B.Ed. or Bacheolar degree in Education.
This is the minimum qualification to be TGT or PGT teacher in govt or pvt schools.
While D.Ed is essential for PRT or primary teacher in govt or pvt schools.
The Pros of B.Ed trainig is -
That you will get the govt job at higher package of Group B post at 5200 G.P. instead of 4200 G.P. of PRT.
    Surity of permanent job.
Confirmation of future secure in education stream.
Future of your children will also shine.
You will make huge money by school at regular & by coaching classes on part time basis.
While PRT will not do so.
