    Pharmacy which deals with Life Sciences is one of the Ever green course , for the young aspirants who wanted to purse their higher studies in Research side.

    Not only with research you can also go for the manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals , Quality control , Analysis of various Pharmaceutical products and all.

    You can also with Pharm D which is the Clinical Pharmacist where you are provided with a Doctorate.

    Eligibility for Pharmacy Entrance :

    Educational Qualification :

    You must have pursued your 10+2 with Physics , Mathematics , Chemistry Stream or Physics , Biology , Chemistry Stream from a recognized board by Central or State government.

    Age Criteria :

    Dude there is no age criteria for joining in Pharmacy course.

    There are common entrance tests conducted by State or Central governments for the entry into Pharmacy after your +2 study.

    Based on your rank in the common entrance test you will be placed in different colleges at the time of counselling.

    After your B.Pharmacy if you wanted to pursue P.G you can go with M.Pharmacy where you will get Masters Degree.

    Duration Of Course :

    you should require to pass in10+2 or by passing equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology. (PCM,PCB)

    The main course in the Pharmacy are the 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy(D.pharm) 4 years bachelor of pharmacy(B.Pharm).

    -For doing the D.pharm you have to pass your 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics,chemistry,maths,biology.

    -For doing B.Pharm you have to pass your 10+2 with physics,chemistry,maths(PCM) or physics,chemistry,Biology(PCB)or physics,chemistry,maths & biology.

    So after completion 10+2 you can go for Pharma courses.

    Information about Pharmacy Course -

    You have not mentioned that you are Interested to take admission in Bachelor Pharmacy course OR Master degree pharmacy course, But please do not worry because here I am providing you the complete Information about Pharmacy course, So If you are Interested in B.Pharmacy course then you have to complete Your 12Th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathamatics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

    B.Pharmacy is the 4 Year Under graduate degree course and after completing 12Th examination you are eligible to apply for This examination, so you have to scored minimum 50% marks in PCM subjects only then you are eligible to get admission in B.Pharmacy Course, the eligibility criteria are not same for all the colleges, its vary form colleges to colleges, But 12Th is the Minimum eligibility to apply for this course.

    *candidate must be an Indian...
    *should complete your 12th class with minimum of 55%
    *Should not get non zero in the subjets like,physics,chemistry,biology/mathematics....
    *should score 135 marks out of 300 marks in the 12th....
    *candidate of foriegn or children of the NRI should pass the HSC examination conducted by the state board...
    *should have minimum age of 17 years...
    *any other criteria prescribed by the government of the particular state should be satisfied...

    eligibility is that 10+2 eith 50% in PCB
    To start your career in pharmacy, you need to opt for:
    D. Pharma: It's a two-year diploma course in pharmacy.
    B. Pharma: It's a complete four-year degree course in pharmacy.
    And those who have passed the diploma course after 10Th examination are also eligible to apply for B.Pharmacy course.

    Eligibility criteria for pharmacy:
    • You should study +2 with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and secured minimum 60% marks in each subject.
    • In case you belongs to ST or SC you need to maintain caste and income certificates inssued by the state govt only.In case of non availability of SC or ST candidates, inter conversion of seats between SC and ST is permitted as the case may be.
    • You should be a citigen of country and must not have any backlogs in +2.
    • After B.phar you can go for highere studies like M.pharm.The candidates who has passed B. Pharm. From any AICTE approved institution affiliated with University (Approved by UGC) and obtained the 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) are eligible to study M.pharm.

    According to basic eligibility criteria you should have passed 12th class for taking admission in Pharmacy courses.

    • Student should have passed 10+2 from recognized institute or board
    • Student should have at least 50% marks in 10th and 12th examination for being eligible .
    • Student should be between 16-21 years while applying.
    • Student should have passed 10+2 with science side having physics , chemistry and biology as subject combination .

    Candidate should have complete 12th class with PCM/Bi.P.C stream.

    Hi Friend,

    B.Pharmacy is the 4 year Bachelor degree course .Some universities and colleges take direct admission on basis of your 10+2 marks .Most of them Prefer to take through Entrance Exam .Entrance Exam For Pharmacy is taken along with Engineering Entrance Exam like IIT-JEE,AIEEE and other state level Entrance Exam .

    Eligiblity Criteria for B.Pharmacy Course
    • You must have passed in your 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathamatics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

    B.pharm stands for Bachelor of pharmacy . It is an under graduation course . The duration of the course is for three years and the course is divided into six semester . B.Pharm course will cover a syllabus including health care and biochemical science . B.pharm course also The program covers practical experiments along with theory classes . So many reputed institutes and universities in India provide B.Pharm course .

    pHarmacy is a very good course which can be done after 12th std.

    It is a 4 year Bachelor degree course.

    the condidate can take admission in the pharmacy colleges with the help of his marks in 12th (std)

    if your % in 12th will be good you can easly take admission in the top colleges of pharmacy.

    the eligibility criteria for the pharmacy are listed as below--->>

    Pharmacy is a very essential medical profession for country where students learn all about manufacturing of drugs, study of drugs, etc. It is also believed that pharmacy is a one of the toughest course because there are many studies thata student have to keep in his/her mind during manufacturing of drugs so that a drug can act on its respective receptor for quick relief and no harm/side effects.
    In India this profession is in growing sector and have lot of job opportunities in India as well as in foreign countries.In foreign countries pharmacy course have already achieved all thos things which a pharmacist deserve.During admission in pharmacy you must remember following things:-
    >College/university must be Approved by Pharmacy Council Of India(PCI).
    >College/University must be UGC recognized.

    PCI is a government community where pharmacy colleges apply for approval of their course by PCI.
    Well to get admission in pharmacy you must be 12th passed in science stream.

    You must be 12th passed with minimum 50% marks in PCB/PCM.

    B.Pharm is a four-year degree course in pharmacy. To make a career for yourselves in the field of pharmacy you need to do this program.

    You need to have Physics ,Chemistry ,Maths or Biology.
    That is you must be a science stream student.
    You need a minimum 50% to ensure a seat in a good college.

    Eligibility for Pharmacy course.

    Educational qualification :

    The candidates must have completed class 12th with studying Physics ,chemistry and Biology or Physics ,chemistry or Maths.

    There is no age restriction to join the course.

    There are various entrance examination conducted for getting admission to this course.
    The central or state government conducts the entrance examination every for this course.

    The course duration for B.Pharmacy is 4 years.
