    The eligibility criteria for the bank exams will differ. It may differ according to the type of posts for which you are applying and also the bank for which you are applying. You can apply for the post of PO, Clerk etc through the bank exams. You need to be a graduate in order to attend the bank exams for the post of PO. You need to be between 21 – 30 years. In case of clerk position, the criteria will differ. In case of the CET for IBPS for clerk position the minimum eligibility criteria is a 10th class with around 60% of marks. The age limit is between 18-28 years. There will relaxations in case of the eligibility criteria’s for the reserved categories.

    Re: Tell me the detailed eligibility criteria of Bank Exams?

    Hello my dear friend,

    IBPS is conducting common written test for 19 government sector bank.IBPS is conducting separately for clerical cadre and PO positions for various banks.this is the best choice for the candidates who are preparing for bank exams, because here they no need to apply for all the banks and no need to pay for all the banks.one time of payment is enough and one time of writing entrance exam is enough.that score will be applicable to all the banks.This is an advantage to the candidates.

    To apply for PO cadre, you must satisfy following eligibility criteria;

    1.You must be completed graduation from recognized university with 50% of marks with any stream.
    2.If you are belonging to SC and ST candidates, then 45% of marks are enough.
    3.Age should be 21 years to 28 years.

    For clerical cadre, You must be having at least 60% of marks in your 10+2 or Minimum qualification in graduation is enough to apply for clerical cadre of IBPS common written test.

    Go with proper preparation for the written test, then you will surely get good score in the written test.

    Regards
