The question structure will be divided in to two parts. The candidates should attend the preliminary exam as well as the Main examination. The exam pattern will consist of the objective type of questions. The preliminary examination will include subjects such as maths, biology, chemistry, physics, political science etc along with General studies. There will be optional subjects in case of the Main exam. The candidates can choose the optionals as per their area of specialization. Apart from this, the main exam will also include Marathi, English and General Studies as subjects. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in these exams.

You can give this exam for the following posts:- Sub inspector of police, state civil services, agricultural services, assistant and sales tax inspector, assistant inspector of motor vehicles, clerical and typists, forest services and stenographers.

You can give this exam for as many times as you want.

Your age should be between 18-33 years.

The upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates is 35 years and for SC/ST candidates is 38 years.
