getting that job is a very great oppurtunity, in that under your contrl one district is there you are the administrartor,,, but the salary is some what less then an software engineer,but you the ruling power

1. Is there enough time in this job to follow your hobbies as well?
2. Also, is it required that an IAS officer stays at a particular district 90% of the time in her career?
3. Currently, what is the exact take home salary of a beginner IAS officer?
4. If I clear IAS exam at the age of 29.5 years when I have working experience of 5.5 years in IT. Will I draw the same salary as any other who clears IAS exam alongwith me and who has absolutely no prior work experience?
