    IBPS is a self-governed organization that is meant for recruitment and placement services. They are responsible for carrying out common bank examinations. The common bank exams are carried out for the post of bank clerk and bank PO. Separate exams are carried out for both the exams. The eligibility requirement for both the exams is also different. The candidate can collect details on common bank exams from the official website of IBPS. They can also send application (for written exam) through the website.

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel.It is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks.You have chance to apply for both PO position and Clerical cadre positions.Here you will be having chance to apply for all the banks with single time payment and single time written test.IBPS is conducting every year two time common written exam for both PO and Clerical cadre positions.Once go through following eligibility criteria;

    Institute of Banking Personnel is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks. It is conducted twice a year.
    To be eligible for this exam one must be an Indian Citizen with an age limit of 20 to 30 years. There is an age relaxation of 3 to 10 years for the SC/ST/OBC/DISABLED category.For clerical cadre position,then you must be having at least 55% of marks from your Intermediate from recognized board.For PO position then you must be having at least 50% of marks in your graduation from recognized universityAlso You must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university or central one.

    The exam consist of two parts:

    IBPS is a exam which is conducted for 19 Public sector banks for clerical and PO posts every year. Previously all banks conducts its seperate examination but now they all are combined and now there is only one common written examination. IBPS conducts only the written examination on the behalf of 19 Banks and provide a score cards to the candidates. On the basis of score card candidates may apply for Interview directly in the 19 Public sector Banks.

    The validity of Score card of IBPS is only for 1 years from the date of Issue of score card. These banks accepts the score cards of IBPS.

    Now a days in order to get jobs in government banks a common written exam is conducted.
    There are various government banks participate in it except RBI and SBI.

    After getting pass in this exam you will get a rank card just like IIT and AIEEE exam and based on your marks you have get ,you will be selected in that particular banks in which you marks will be demanded.

    IBPS is responsible for conducting this exam.

    The exam is basically taken for the two levels.

    @IBPS Clerk level.
    @IBPS P.O level.

    The details regarding these two IBPS EXAM is as follows:-

On the basis of the examination , IBPS prepares a score card of candidates for their recruitment for clerical or PO posts in these 19 banks.
    The Eligibilty criteria for Ibps are :
    1) You Must have passed HSC Examination with 60% of marks or have passed Intermediate with 55% of Marks.
    2) Your Age Should lie between 18 to 28 years.

    Institute of banking and personnel selection conducts exams for the clerk and p.o posts in the 19 banks throughout India.

    There are two types of in the banking sector.They are:
    • Clerk posts.
    • P.O posts.
    The Eligibility details of the P.O posts are as follows:
    • Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
    • Minimum 21 years of age.
    • The maximum age allowed is 30 years.
    • Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories.
    • 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
    • 3 years for OBC candidates.
    • 10 years for physically handicapped candidates.


    The above mentioned are the eligibility details of the P.O Exam.

    The Eligibility details of the CLERK exam is as follow:

    • Candidates must have completed graduation 10th or 12th standard with atleast 55% of marks.
    • Minimum 18 years of age.

    IBPS conducts exams for the specialist officers as well as management trainees with the help of common written exam.
    education qualification for IBPS PO
    you must have a degree from any recognized university with 40-50% of marks to be eligible for this exam,
    age limit
    minimum age limit is 20 years,
    maximum is 30 for general categories
    age relaxation
    • if you are belong to the SC/ST than you must have 5 years of age relaxation,
    • if you are belong to the obc than you must have 3 years of age relaxation,
    • if you are belong to the PWD than you must have 10 years of age relaxation,
    for this exam you have to do lot of hard work as there are so many competitiveness with you , there are 20 lakh students registering for this exam.
