    Hi friend...IBPS conducts the common written exam and personal interview for the recruitment of clerks,POs and specialist officers in 21 public sector banks...The educational qualification required to apply for IBPS clerks and PO exams is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university...And the age limit to apply for IBPS CLERKS exam is 18-28 years and for IBPS POs & Specialist Officers exam is 21-30 years and the age relaxations are as per the government regulations...ALL THE BEST...

    IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selections. IBPS examination is conducted for the recruitment in the different public sectors banks.

    If you have completed graduation degree OR if you have completed diploma degree then you are applicable for IBPS Clerk Exam.Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years old.

    Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for IBPS PO exam.Your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.

    If you have completed graduation degree with IT related course then you are applicable for IT Officer Exam post .Your age should be in between 21 to 34 years old.

    Age relaxation for reserved candidate is given below-

    SC/ST Category - 5 years age relaxation
    OBC Category - 3 years age relaxation
    PWD Category - 10 years relaxation

    Complete details about IBPS:

    IBPS conducts online objective exam for the candidates who wants to be in 20 public sector banks except SBI.
    If candidate gets selected for one time then he can use his score card for whole one year and can attend the interview /group discussion directly.

    What are the required qualifications for it?

    A candidate need to have any degree or any equivalent for attending the IBPS exam.
    Note that percentage is not the criteria eve if you are not a computer literate also can apply for the examination.

    My dear friend.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    IBPS conducts 2 main exams.

    These are:-

    --> IBPS Clerk Exam

    --> IBPS Bank PO Exam


    The main qualification required for the Clerk exam is 12th.

    The candidate must have completed 12th from a recognized board.

    His/Her age must be between 18-28 years.

    Apart from that the main requirement for the PO exam is Graduation.

    The candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized university.

    It may be in any field.

    The age requirement for the PO exam is 20-30 years.

    A good knowledge of computer skills is required for both Clerk and PO exams.

    It is because banking field strongly depends on computers.

    thousands of new entrants. Here is a unique opportunity for aspirants for a career in 19 Public Sector Banks
    through a Single Common Examination
    A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of
    Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for
    Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Public Sector Banks
    mentioned below.
    This system of Common Examination for recruitment of Probationary Officers/
    Management Trainees has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector
    Banks and the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) with the
    consent of the Government of India.
    IBPS, an autonomous body registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 and a
    Public Trust under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, has been authorised by IBA and has
    received a mandate from the 19 Public Sector Banks listed below to conduct the
    Common Written Examination. The CWE for Probationary Officer/ Management
    Trainee posts will be conducted twice a year by IBPS.

    An individual who aspires to join any of the above Public Sector Banks as a
    Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee will necessarily be required to take the
    CWE. Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CWE will have to apply to
    IBPS and should carefully read the advertisement regarding eligibility criteria, online
    registration process, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and score cards.
    Candidates who appear for the CWE will be able to check their status after the
    examination. Scorecards will be issued to candidates who secure minimum qualifying
    marks and above in each test of the examination.
    Please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for applying to
    various Public Sector Banks. However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for
    the examination does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for
    employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate
    its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.
    Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria
    before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE):
    I. Nationality / Citizenship:
    A candidate must be either -
    (i) a Citizen of India or
    (ii) a subject of Nepal or
    (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
    (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the
    intention of permanently settling in India or
    (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
    East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
    (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and
    Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
    provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a
    person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of
    India.
