    GATE 2013 registration will start in September.Dates will be announced later.After the admissions in M.Tech is over and the recruitments through GATE is over,then new registration starts.Exam will be held as in 2nd sunday of february as always.But all dates will be given and all other details will be provided at the time of notification.Check around september end in the websites of any of the IITs.The registratuon fee is 1000 rupees for general category students exclusive of bank charges.

    Syllabus for the GATE 2013:
    The syllabus is related to the Graduation course you had been completed in your bachelor degree or the Graduation in which stream you had been completed.As you had not mentioned the Branch of study for telling the syllabus,so,the syllabus is related to the Course you had been completed in the Graduation......
    Examination pattern:
    The candidates must select one paper of which branch they belong and the examination duration is 3 hours and which contains 60 questions and carrying of the marks 100.The question paper contains the multiple type questions and you should choose the correct answer and every wrong answer will be having the negative marking......

    GATE is GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST FOR ENGINEERING

    The SYLLABUS for GATE exam is given below.

    The GATE test duration is 3 hours. There are 65 questions with a maximum of 100 marks. Objective type questions are included in the GATE test. In the AE and TF papers, there are 60 multiple type questions. Four alternatives will be there. Numerical questions have a number as the answer.

    Geophysics, Fiber Engineering, Aerospace and Mining papers can be answered through online. Some other papers with the same pattern are Geology and Textile. Candidates can mark right alternative by darkening the bubbles for all other papers. Numerical questions do not have negative marking. All other papers follow negative marking. There is General Aptitude part that carries 15 marks. Applicants can select any one paper from the list of 21.

    Hello friend !!

    GATE :

    GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering .

    As you know, GATE is an Post Graduation Entrance Exam which is conducted all over India.

    The Eligibility for this is Graduation i.e either you must have completed Graduation or you may be in the Graduation Final Year.

    GATE 2012 :

    GATE Examination in 2012 was already held in the month of Feb .

    The Examination was conducted on Jan 29th(Online) and Feb 12th(Offline).

    The Results were released on 15th March.

    And the notifications of GATE 2013 were not yet released, hence am providing you the Tentative Dates of GATE 2013.

    GATE 2013 :

    The GATE exam carried out in the month of February.

    The Application forms can collected online on September 4th week.

    The forms are available until October 3rd week.

    The application forms can be collected from the GATE office counters at the end of October.

    Filled forms can submitted online until October last week and offline before November 1st week.

    The results will be released by March mid week.

    Application Fee Structure :

    For General/OBC Category Students the Fee is Rs.1000/-

    For SC/ST/PD Category Students the Fee is Rs.500/-

    How to Apply ?

    You are asked to Apply through only ONLINE, there is no offline mode of Applying for GATE.

    Decide Payment Option :

    Gateway Payment : Payment can be made using netbanking. Bank service charge is extra (maximum of 30/-)

    About the Examination :

    The GATE test duration is 3 hours.

    The exam will be on 2nd sunday of febraury

    GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board every year. For this year GATE Examination was already completed and if you have not appeared for GATE Examination this time then please wait for next year Recruitment.

    The Notification of GATE Examination will be Published soon in the Month of September and the examination is Conducted January/February. You have to fill the GATE Application form Online Only.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    ~~ To apply for this examination you have to complete your 4 Year degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture OR

    ~~ You have to complete your Post graduate degree course in in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent Final year Graduate or Post graduate candidates are also eligible for GATE Examination.

    MY friend GATE exam is conducted to give admission to M.Tech degree in engineering colleges.

    Any one of the IIT conducts GATE exam every year in the month of March.

    You haven't specified your branch So, we can't provide the exact syllabus. Mention your stream name next time. Here are few details

    Eligibility for GATE:

    You should be a Bachelor degree holder in Engineering OR Technology OR Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and even if you are in the final year can also write GATE.

    You should be a Master degree holder in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and even if you are in the final year of such programmes.

    If you are in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology.

    Second and third year MCA students are also eligible for GATE

    First and Second year MSc students are also eligible for GATE

    GATE is the graduate aptitude test of engineering with which you can enter to get admission of M.E.
    In all india,M.E admission is done on the base of marks scored in the GATE.
    syllabus of different engineering branch are different.so you can download the syllabus of GATE of your engineering field from site:

    GATE exam is taken in the month of febuary and held on 2nd sunday of febuary.
    GATE registration fees is Rs.1000

    as far as syllabus is concernedit varies for the different streams,but three sections are common are common for the all stream that are-
    1)aptitude
    2)reasoning
    3)english.






    last date for the receipt of the filled up gate application form is-8 october 2012.registration fee for the general is-1200,for sc\st is-600 and for girls it is free of cost.

    GATE 2013 registratin has been started from 1/09/2012 and will end on 30/09/2012. last date of receiving apllications in respective zones is on 08/10/2012. Registration fee for GEN/OBC is rs 1200 and for SC/ST is rs 600. GIRLS candidates are kept away from any type of charges and fees.
