my child has passed only first year of instrumentation engineers and has had two drop years what simple courses are advisable for his carrier.

I am an engineering student of a college affiliated to Mumbai University. I had got 6 KTs in the First Year due to which I had to take a drop. However, I asked for my papers to be re evaluated and took provisional admission.Now what next?
