Dear friend,
my friend as you are in 3rd semester so you are just in begining phase of engg. hence you need to build your concepts .Hence you need to do hard work.

You can join any C/C++ course classes,because these are basics of programming language.You need to build your basic fundas about programming.

Other than this if you have interest in networking then you can go for networking courses of CISCO,it will be very helpful to you at the time of placement.

You need to do practice of aptitude questions,MCQ questions which will help you at the time of placement.

You can also join courses offered by NIIT academy.

So join any course in which you have interest,,utilize your vacations.

I appreciate your career plans. Still in 3rd semester and thinking of career is a very good sign.
And you have not mentioned your branch. Assming you wanna pursue your career in IT industry I am suggesting you this.
Now, As you have asked for a 1 month course then you better take up C, C++, Oracle etc. This you may have in your syllabus too but will help you in your interbviews. Also take up some other long term, courses like Java, J2EE, DotNet, Informatica, Cognos etc.

You can also do some real time projects which will help you to get a better practical knowledge.
After 2 years you can also work as an intern in any of the companyto get better exposure..

If you want to do higher studies then you can try for GATE, GRE, CAT, MAT etc.

Pursuing short term courses along with regular courses is really beneficial. This may definitely improve your career prospects in future. The area of interest or the current stream of study is not mentioned in the question. Anyway, there are software courses which can be pursued with in 1-2 month time duration. .Net programming, java programming courses, etc can be studied with in this time span. If you are an electronics student, you can go for 1 month course in embedded system, VLSI design, etc. You can also try for short term courses in networking.

i advice you to go for courses like C C++ java or .net which would take about 1month to complete the course but dont just do the course do a specialisation course that even helps you to write certifications for the programming languages which will be very usefull in job prospectous...
