    Hello Friend

To become an IAS officer, is a very good decision but to achieve you have to put your efforts as possible as you can because IAS recruitment is based on all India Civil's exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

In India Civil's exam is considered as the toughest exam and many number of aspirants are competing to crack the examination. IAS cadre is top among all the Indian Civil Services cadre's. So the competition for the exam is very high.

To go for Civil's exam your educational qualification must be Degree holder in any stream from any recognized university/college.

IAS exam (Civil's exam), is mainly conducted in 3 rounds

    1. Preliminary
    2. Main
    3. Interview

In the main exam, you have to choose one optional subject of your choice and one optional language for written part, so arts stream will be very useful to learn language part.

Now you are in 11th standard and planning for IAS exam, is good so work hard from now and get grip on each and every subject. Generally in Arts stream you will face subjects like

    Economics
    Political Science
    History

    Mathematics
    Statistics
    Computer Science and application
    Logic and Philosophy

So friend to prepare for IAS exam, the subjects above in bold green color are main to concentrate, you have to get grip in those subjects right from your higher secondary level.

NCERT books are preferable for preparing these subjects and exclusively for IAS exam, Tata Mcgrawhill book is the best choice which covers all the subjects.

After completion of your 10+2 stream, you go for Degree program while you are in final year of degree course you get eligibility to apply for the IAS exam.

So friend for any further information you leave your message here.

Its too early friend, to become IAS you must be first graduate.Since you are in 11th so no need to prepare at present time for IAS.
Indian administrative services is a reouted post in India which depicts our country unity. To become IAS one have to work hard too much, its exam are very tough.Every year lot of candidates give IAS paper but only very few qualify IAS exam.IAS exam is conducted on following three basis:-
    >CSAT
    >Written test
    >Interview test
For interview test only those candidatets are eligible who qualify other two tests mentioned above and if however any candidate failed in interview so he/she will be declared as unqualified.

PAPER GRAND MARKS AND OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

    ELIGBILITY
    >You must be graduate from a UGC recognized university
    >You must be citizen of India
    >Your age must be 21-30 years of age.
