    dear,

You already mentioned the subjects though, in detail to do it with non-medical background, you should opt physics, chemistry , maths, english and one compulsory language such as hindi or punjabi: depending on your state language, also you can take extra curricular subjects like physical education and computers etc.

    all the best

Re: Which subject should I take to do PCM in Science?

    Hi friend...

I think you want to knnow about all the subjects of science stream in Class 11th and 12th.

So,I am listing the subjects below:-

    1.Mathematics.

    2.Physics.

    3.Chemistry.

    4.English.

    5.Physical Education/Music/Painting/Computer Science,etc.

In CBSE,you have an option to choose in 5th subject.

You can choose as per your interest.

    You can go for Music/Physical Education/Painting/Computer Science,etc.

You have also a choice of additional subject i.e,6th subject.

Suppose you have chosen computer science as your 5th subject but also wants to study Physical Education, you can choose it as an optional subject.

The benefit of optional subject is that if you fail in any 1 main subject but pass in all other subjects including optional subject, then the optional subject will

become a main subject and the subject in which you have failed will become 6th subject.

You will be declared pas in that case and will not be required to give compartmental exam.

I hope your confusion is solved.

    Thanks.

Dear, if you want to do medical to courses like b.sc in biotechnology, then you need to take biology i.e. physics, chemistry and biology.
if you want to do b.tech, or b.sc in maths then you need to take maths i.e. physics, chemistry and maths.

You have to choose science as your stream if you want to make your career in the field of PCM(Physics, chemistry, mathematics).
There are a number of curses which you can choose after completing your higher secondary from science back ground. Some of the courses
    can be listed as follows:
    1)B.Sc(Bachelors of science) in Physics
    2)B.Sc(Bachelors of science) in Chemistry
    3)Physics(honors)
    4)Chemistry(honors) or mathematics(honors)
You can choose any such course depending on your interests and aspirations.

you have to select physics, chemistry maths, english as compulsory subject and some optional subject will available for you when you will take admission in any good school . there are many school but only 10 % of them are good and they organize classes for the students all the day.most of the students want to do coaching so such students do not attend any class,if you are taking admission in such school then you will get deceived by these schools so be careful while taking admission.optional subjects are-
    hindi
    regional language
    environmental studies
    computer science ( C,C++,JAVA)
