    dear friend,
for giving ias exam you will have to do graduation first because the minimum eligibility qualification for the exam is that the student must have done graduation in any field with atleast 60% marks. the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years.
you must take non medical in 11th class. this is because a lot of subjects from non medical are there in ias exam. there will be general knowledge questions also in the exam. you can prepare for them by watching television news and reading newspaper regularly.

    friend,

To become an IAS officer a candidate should have a minimum educational
qualification as graduation in any field from any recognized university.

Age limit:21 to 30 years and for sc/st a relaxation of 5 years and for obc candidates
    a relaxation of 3 years.

Number of attempts:for general candidates it is four attempts
for obc candidates it is seven attempts
and for sc/st candidates there is no limit on number of attempts.

You are free to choose any subject which you like in 11th class but i will suggest you take
science stream because you have more career prospects other in science field.
There is no minimum criteria for percentage in 11th class.

Dear You can choose whatever stream is of your intrest.
You can choose the one from science, commerce and arts.
The eligibility for Civil services examination is that you must
be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
And 11th class percentage are not required to sit in the exam.
But try to get good percentage in 11th also, as a overall consistent
performance in studies is always appreciated.
Also you must be of 21 years of age to sit in the exam.

Friend,in order to become an IAS officer, best stream to be take in class 11th is ARTS including history and geography.
Though you can take any of the available subjects, but ARTS reduces the burden of preparation a lot.
You have to prepare history and geography for GS in IAS exam for sure.
You can also take them as your optional subjects.
This will help you a lot in preparation.
Best of luck for your future.
