As per all the notifications from the banks regarding opportunities for PO post any graduate can apply for the test. Also the candidate the qualification should be from a recognised institute. So even candidates who have studied through distance education can also apply for the test. You will be eligible for the test only if you fulfill age criteria too. Your age should not be over 30 years incase you apply to a nationalised bank. Incase you plan to apply to private banks then your age should not be over 25 years. For clerical post the age limit is 28 years.

    Dear,
Yes dear you are eligible for this.
The minimum eligibility for bank clerk/po is graduation in any stream.
So if you have completed your degree with distance mode, is
    equivalent to regular degree course.

Re: Is a student with Distance mode Degree eligible to appear in Bank Exams or not?

Yes even if you have completed your graduation from correspondence medium, then also you are eligible to
appear for banking exams as the concerned authority has not specified that students from any medium can
apply for the same provided they have completed their graduation from a recognized university(means which is affiliated by
the concerned authority). So, as you are satisfying this criterion, then you are eligible for the same.

Banking exams are one of the most preferred exams by many students all over India.According to a new provision,
the exam is now conducted by two bodies separately which are-
    1)IBPS(Institute of Banking personnel selection)
    2)State Bank of India.
