Re: Which stream should I take to become Environmental Engineer?

    hello,

i suggest , it will be better if you take BIO as your stream in your higher secondary
in environmental engineering you need to understand and know the biological and universal names of the chemicals/organisms and others
since environmental engineering involves many process such as biodiversity , life cycle , ecology etc it will be better to understand if you opt for bio as your major.
other than bio you can opt for CS which makes you yourself eligible for the engineering courses , but it wont help you out much.

    all the best

    Hi Friend,
Environmental engineers are the most important jobs in sustainable career systems.
Within an environmental engineer there are many different levels and things like construction engineers, structural engineers etc.. Becoming environmental engineer is not that easy.
Minimum requirement to become an environmental engineer is bachelor's degree in engineering with a concentration in environmental systems and design.Environmental engineers should also be computer proficient.
A new engineer should undergo on-the-job training before working independently.
    AL D BEST.

You can choose Civil Engineering after plus two. Civil engineering involves planning and designing of the buildings. This profession possesses good creative skill. Good designing skill is also needed. Environmental engineering is actually a sub branch of Civil Engineering. Environmental engineers are responsible for designing of eco friendly systems. Thus the demand of environmental engineers is increasing day by day. There is only limited colleges are offering Environmental engineering. More opportunities are there in foreign countries. Opportunities are also there in India.

To become Environment engineer you must take MPC (maths, physics and chemistry) as your stream for your intermediate.
Taking MPC as your stream will help you to appear in various engineering entrance exam.
Since environmental engineering is the course that is not available in India so, you must use your other engineering skills to become an environmental engineering.
Their are many companies which require engineer to reduce their pollution output.
