Career planning is one of the most crucial part in our life.
You should your career in the age of 14-15 years. In that age you can enter the 12th stander ed.This is the formative age to shape your career.
After completion of 10th every student has confusion, which course we will take.

after completion of your 10th ,in 10+2 you will have 3 options.
    -science stream
    -Arts/Humanities
    -commerce

    Science:

There is a common belief that science is the most important subject compared to other 2 options. You are interested in Engineering you can go for MPC(which is the combination of Maths, physics, chemistry)you are interested in medicine, agricultural, dentistry you cab go for BiPC(which is the combination of biology, physics, chemistry).

    Arts/Humanities:

It is not widely appreciated that humanities. But Humanities is also offers a many options. After completion of 10+2 you can go for BA degree course. Then after you can for Journalism,Performing arts,Advertising travel and tourism and you can sit for civil services also.

    Commerce:

After science, commerce is the best option. If you go for CA,this course is a good option.

After M.P.C also you can go for LAW.

Finally its purely depends upon your interest.

So choose a good course for your bright future.

    dear friend ,

its really the nice thing to opt arts as your stream other than the streams like

science and commerce in the 11th for the bright future in the law.

because much of the subjects in the art stream are similar or the much part of the syllabus of the art is
common with the syllabus of the law.

so it will be easy to you if you opt the arts stream as your stream in the 11th.
for the good future in the law.

    thanks and best luck

    hi friend,

by your question i identified that your aim is to study law in future.

and your decision to study law is very good because

now students willing to study engineering mostly.

to study law in future it is better to take CEC or MEC in 11th

Because these streams are including some basics for law in those subjects.

My advise is to join in CEC group for more advantage in future.

Law is a degree course of 5 years, where lot of skills are needed.A good lawyer is that who have patience, good oral communication skills, logic thinking, can understand body language. To pursue a law any particular stream is not needed in 12th,it must be only 12th pass. This course is pursued by those students who desire to make career in lawyer and as a judge.Very creative and sharp mind is needed. In India there are many law colleges. To pursue law you have to give CLAT exam, clat is a comptitive exam held for admission in law colleges. Now you choose any stream of your interest and complete your 12th with good marks and then apply for clat exam.

    Hi friend

To do law there is no specific stream that you need to choose in class 11 .
If you do any stream you are eligible.

Some of the important exams you need to write are:

    1.CLAT

    3.NLU Orissa
    4.SET
    5.LAWCET

Re: Which stream should I take in 11th to study law in future?

I think you are not eligible for this exam as the test is taken after the Higher Secondary Examination or the 12th grade for admission to integrated under graduation programmes in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Laws(LL.M) programmes conducted by these law universities.

CLAT 2013 Eligibility criteria for Undergraduates:

You should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).

Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)as on July 1, 2013.

You must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.

    Thanks..
