    hi,
If you want to become I.A.S officer then you have to pass the graduation in any stream you want from the recognized university.

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.
    Eligibility criteria:-
    >pass the graduation from recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
    > Age limit:-
    For open category:-21-30year
    For OBC category :- 21-33year
    For ST/SC category:-21-37 year
    > Number of attempts:-
    For open category:- 4
    For ST/SC category:-7
    > Must be citizen of India.

Actually there is no such particular stream which you should select in order to become an IAS(Indian Administrative services) officer
in future. This post can be achieved by competing for civil services examination.Civil services examination are conducted by
a separate body(UPSC-Union public service commission) which has been formed for this very purpose.
The examination is conducted in three stages which can be mentioned as follows:
    1)Preliminary examination
    2)Mains examination
    3)Personal interview
The minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for UPSC examination is graduation or a equivalent degree
from a recognized university or institution.
